AK Dreaming Posted February 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2020 I'm boarding the Breakaway in Miami April 23rd. It is coming from Orlando and should be empty as they disembark on the 22nd and move the ship to Miami. I do not usually concern myself with getting on the ship early, but since this is a short cruise and cabins should be ready, I was hoping to get on as early as possible. I am Platinum but the rest of my group is not. Do I need to try to get an early boarding time or can we all board in the early group Platinum? Not sure how that works, I've never been early before. How early can we get on the ship?
smplybcause Posted February 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2020 Boarding will probably start around 11. No your entire group cannot board with Platinum if they are not Platinum. I'm honestly not sure if they make exceptions for cabin mates of Platinums. It's likely that the cabins will be ready upon boarding, but not guaranteed. Rare BirdTravels Posted February 14, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2020 Priority boarding will start before 11:00. And General Boarding before 11:30. Go to the port at 10:00. Board with your non-platinum friends.
Rare misguy Posted February 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2020 If you are there at 10:00 the odds are good that you would all wind up in boarding group 1 and on early and one of the dining rooms will be open for lunch.
flcraigs5 Posted February 15, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2020 My scenario is I am platinum and my husband is not. Will he be able to board with me?

Sand and Seas Posted February 15, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2020 In Miami last month, we had to show our Platinum/Platinum Plus cards to board before they called the Boarding number cards. Suggest you get your group there early to get a low boarding group card.
