HAL Promo Codes

I am new to HAL and when i was online looking at different excursions and other items, it has a spot for promo code.  Is this something that they would email you?   Also, in the past I have actually been offered upgrades on my booking/itinerary page for other cruise lines.  Has anyone ever seen that on the HAL site?

There is rarely a promo for excursions.  Sometimes 10% off IIRC.  If that’s the case the promo code was on the HAL site when you go to look, I believe.  It’s not something really used at this stage of the game.

I think you are talking about upsells?  Upgrades that you pay a discounted amount for?

For those - no - they do not appear on the booking itinerary page.

 

Offers either come from your TA (if you used one) or by email from HAL.

 

Ugrades (free) are simply done and you only know by looking at your cabin number and seeing it had changed.

When you go to the HAL website first go to the deals page.  All current promotions will be linked to that page with a few exceptions.  They do run casino and other past guest sales occasionally but you would have to be qualified for those promotions.

On HAL, paid upgrades generally are emailed to you during the last 4 weeks either directly from HAL or through your TA (depending of course on how you booked).  These can be very good deals, but sometimes not, so know your pricing.

Are you referring to the current booking promotion where it states that you are eligible for 10% off select shore excursions if you book by 3/14/20? If so, I'm wondering how to apply that promotion as well Thinking I'll need to call HAL and ask as it doesn't appear to identify the "select" ones.

I understand that certain large agencies do not bother to pass on these upsell offers (not worth the extra effort for them I guess) - I will not book with them as I have taken advantage of many great offers in the past.

We have that promotion, and the 10% off select shore excursions shows up on the various shore excursion pages associated with your booking. Log in, go to already booked, manage your booking, select your booking if you have more than one booking, and shore excursions to see which shore excursions are 10% off and what the new price is. It will be printed in orange.

Yes, I did see that. There’s 1 or 2 at most per port. I didn’t realize that was the promotion. Geez. Thanks HAL 👎🏻
