The sea calls my name Posted March 2, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2020 The Oasis has been sailing out of Miami since she returned in November from her re-fit/amplification. We sailed on her in December from Port Miami. She is going to Cape Liberty , New Jersey this summer, then in November back to FLL. Or at least that appears to be the plan. I completely misinterpreted her post. Sorry folks. Now I just pray there isn't an acutely ill passenger on board.

AlyssaJames Posted March 2, 2020 Author #12 Share Posted March 2, 2020 Thanks for those who replied. I don’t know PoM or Oasis visually, this topic just caught my attention on a non CC site and no one had responded there. Guess we’ll find out. CraigG Posted March 2, 2020 #17 Share Posted March 2, 2020 (edited) The captain informed us a couple hours ago we would be returning to disembark an ill passenger. That all we know on board. As we have 2 sea days, he said it would not impact our arrival in St Martin on Wednesday. Edited March 2, 2020 by CraigG

How vigilant are they about the new passport/travel rules? Godspeed to everyone who is ill...and let's hope the person/people are fine! Rare colesc15 Posted March 2, 2020 #21 Share Posted March 2, 2020 Hopefully it's illness related to something other than covid, otherwise the news will go wild.

Illness is a general term. It could easily be a heart attack and not something infectious.
Rare colesc15 Posted March 2, 2020 #25 Share Posted March 2, 2020 The concerning part is I feel like if my was something like a heart attack they wouldn't have gone all the way down the channel before stopping.. Unless they got the person off the ship via a pilot boat at the mouth of the port.
