Cancellation of reservation for October 2020 cruise

We booked last fall through a cruise compete website and a travel agent. We paid the deposit of $1500. The reservation includes a suite and air .

The NCL website shows a 100% refund if cancelled by 6-23-2020.

We cancelled the booking on 3-12-2020 through the travel agent, and we received a confirmation from the cruise compete website.

Should we get a refund?  Any idea when?

I am still waiting for a refund on my credit card for a cruise I cancelled on Mar 6, 2020.

I'm attempting to cancel a cruise we have for October, 2020.  I've emailed our NCL consultant twice & spoken to him on the phone once and still nothing.

We are waiting.  October is close but so far away.  We shall see.

Patience!  Think of the number of cruises which have been cancelled by the pax or by NCL in the past week.  This is going to take TIME!  I would think at least 90 days, if not longer.

It probably would be easier to just walk up the gangway to the ship from the pier.  😉

Its gonna take months for the refund to get to you, dont hold on to it...

If I don't see the credit back on 3/20 (14 days from cancellation 3/6) as promised by merchant (NCL), I am going to dispute the charges. I have proof in email that the credits were supposed to go to my AMEX and VISA cards.

Filing a credit card dispute isn't going to do anything for anyone.  As soon as NCL acknowledges that there is a refund being processed, anyone who filed a dispute is going to lose their claim.
