kangforpres Posted April 26, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Man you must be a high roller, my offer is the same but for just $250 free play. I'm on the waiting list for a call back, I had to email them instead of wait 4ever on the phone. Hopefully the cruise we want will still be available when they get around to calling me back, here was the email they sent Saturday morning: If you tried to call us recently about the exclusive casino offer emailed to you on April 23 with the subject line: “Plan to win in 2021 with this special offer,” you might have waited longer than we’d like to speak to a representative due to higher-than-expected demand. Because we know your time is valuable, we’ve also set up a specific email address for you to use. Just email casinoinquiry@princesscruises.com with the subject line: “April 23 casino offer” and please include your name, the best phone number to reach you and your desired voyages in order of preference. We’ll contact you as soon as we can so you can take advantage of this offer. Alternatively, please try calling us again at 1-661-284-4414 as we are trying to add additional call center staff to address demand. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to helping you plan your cruise vacation! Sincerely, The Princess Casino Call Center VIEW APPLICABLE CRUISES
Carols Man Posted April 26, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Honestly, I was off work yesterday early afternoon and Dialed Casino Marketing and put the phone on Speaker. 3 hours and 10 minutes later an agent FINALLY picked up and I got the ship, sail date and even Lido Deck Balcony that I wanted. It was worth that horrible wait lol !

flyboy88 Posted April 26, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2020 On April 23, 2020 I received the offer of complimentary Oceanview Room + $500 Casino Cash + Princess Plus (gratuities, drink package, wifi). I called the Casino department on April 24th as soon as they opened at 10EST; I got through within 10 minutes. The agent knew of the promotion, however said it has “yet to be pushed down” and that there usually is a delay between when the offers are emailed and bookable in the system. Knowing the promotion was going to be popular I asked if there was able to put a note on my file I had called first thing or if they could do a call back. Neither was an option, and I was advised to just try back every hour. I called again about an hour later, and was on hold for 3.5hours. When I got to the agent, the offer was in the system (for the most part) and the whole process took about 30 minutes. He had said their phone lines are busy, but I was still in the ‘first bunch to call in’ so any of the applicable voyages are available to book. I chose the March 13th, 2021 Western Caribbean on the Enchanted Princess. Our offer was for an Oceanview, he had to put me on hold to confirm with another department if it could be honoured. Apparently on the Royal ships that do offer Oceanviews (Sky and Emerald only has 4 Oceanview cabins each and they are considered ‘Premium’) they are exceptions to comp’ed offers and only insides are offered. When he came back, he advised me I was lucky as this offer had no fine print excluding the premium Oceanview category that exists on some Royal class ships. We proceeded with the booking, and when he went to assign me a cabin he was unable to. The only Oceanview cabin available was an accessible cabin that they cannot assign (which makes sense). My options were; accept an Inside room, pay for an upgrade to a balcony, or select a different sailing with Oceanview availability. We lucked out, as there was a few ‘obstructed Balcony (BW)’ cabin available to upgrade into for only $35USD each. If we wanted an unobstructed balcony the upgrade fee would have been $200USD each. The benefit of the cabin we selected it that is has a larger balcony, and isn’t really obstructed, looking straight out it’s clear view. The obstruction is the lifeboats if you look to the back of the ship, but that doesn’t bother us as we sit and look straight out. All the perks were added and visible on my personalizer, including the $100USD OBC/ each from the $100 deposit we had to put down. The Casino cash isn’t appearing yet, but the agent advised that the system was glitching and not automatically applying that to the bookings. The agents were compiling a list as they make bookings to ensure the casino cash is added within a few days. Also, there shows a balance owning that reflects the full amount for the cost of the cruise minus what I paid. The agent said to disregard that amount as the Casino department settles that amount on their end also within a couple days. I’m grateful for this valuable offer and giving myself something positive to look forward to amid all currently happening in the world. Previously to this offer I was only offered up to 35% off my cruise and casino cash, so an offer like this was appreciated.
Gogoddess5 Posted April 26, 2020 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Congrats to those who got through! I received the offer too. Still not booked however - cannot get through on phone but did get a response to request using designated email, only confirming receipt of my request. Seems they are overwhelmed to say the least... Not helping that now any/everyone who sees these generous offers and all the booking details posted - is curious and will be calling/emailing Princess Casino too: "just to see if we qualify"...further delaying response to folks who were targeted to receive the offer! 😒
triple7tahoe Posted April 26, 2020 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2020 I got a call (answering their email to wait) about half an hour ago. It took about 5 minutes to complete and now have balcony for added $140 per person. The only down side that I see is non refundable $100 deposit>
Rare bronzey214 Posted April 26, 2020 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2020 You should see $100 OBC for that deposit.

How can you tell its not obstructed straight out help! You can google the cabin number as most of the Royal Class ships have the same room layouts. I’m on Enchanted in March also and we paid $35 each to upgrade from Oceanview to BW category. We got E432, it’s a bit larger of a balcony and is a clear view straight out. The obstruction is when looking towards the back of the ship and seeing tenders. What Cabin are you in?

Rare roxievegas Posted April 27, 2020 #17 Share Posted April 27, 2020 My hubby got the email, but I did not. I called this morning and we got (hopefully) for Royal out of LA to SF in April 2021 $500 free play each free drink package free grat free wifi $300 OBC - ( used a future cruise deposit cost: $195 ea port taxes $86.40 each vacation protection plan (we are on medicare) $245 ea to upgrade to Balcony (Royal has no Oceanview -which was free) total paid $1,052 - if we had chosen the inside cabin we would have still had to pay $563 for this free cuise. But we wanted the balcony and it was worth it to us to pay the extra $490 we have this same cruise booked with Celebrity for Sept 2021 with the same perks except no free casino play money and the cost of that cruise is $2,200. We will probably cancel it - one it is an inside cabin and this will be our second California Coastal cruise and we don't really need to do a 3rd. We have always had to pay for the whole trip at the time of booking. the port fees, insurance (if you took it), and upgrade to a better room. Your emailed detailed booking will be crazy, it will show that you owe money, but you don't. The charges listed are the price the cruise line charges and then the casino department discounts the rate off. You can check your account in a few days and it will show that you owe nothing. I always get Casino offers from RCI (Again was only on 1 cruise) and get them occasionally from HAL and Princess, but nothing like the current offer, I's usually 25-35% off plus $100 free play. -Paul
