My time Dining

We are booked for next year to sail Anthem of the Seas. We have opted for My Time Dining. I have looked at The Cruise Planner and we can reserve specific times but as Anthem has 4 MDR I’m not sure which restaurants we will be eating at. When booking at 7.30 for example it just comes up with MDR it doesn’t specify if we will be eating at The Grande Chic Silk or American Icon. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

I could be wrong as it has been a minute since I was on the Anthem, but if memory serves, you can go to any of the MDR's at your reservation time.  Someone with more recent experience may chime in.

American Icon Grill and Silk are the my time dining venues. You wait on line at or before your reserved time and they will escort you to whichever dining room has available seating.  One night they seated us on deck 3 in Chic in the traditional dining room as American Icon and Silk on deck 4 were filled.

When you get to the desk to check in for dinner you can ask for a specific dining room and they will do their best to seat you.   (be aware that Grande and Chic are used for traditional dining and space, if available, will be severly limited).  The menus are the same in all of the dining rooms, just the ambiance is different.

When we were on Anthem American Icon was mostly used for reservations and Silk was walkup but it really depends on what is available when you arrive at the checkin station between them (and if you want the same waiters each night).  Unless they change things you should not go to the other deck - those are used exclusively for Traditional.  Your Cruise Compass will identify which dining rooms are for MyTime.

You would have to select traditional dining to eat at those two.  We ate in Chic on the second formal night. We ate late. Our reservation was for 8:45 pm because We will Rock You, which is the headliner show was playing at around 6 and that would have been our normal reservation time. We had the worst service in Chic. I think it was because they put us there at the end of traditional dining time. They really gave us the bums rush.
