MyKonami/Vegas rewards - exchange for OBC Royal Caribbean

Recommended Posts

Hi.  I have redeemed 50,000 rewards points to exchange for $100 OBC.  I had a email to say I had been sent another email with all the details on it but it never arrived.  I tried to find an email address on their social media page but there is nothing there (or on google!).  I called RCI and was told that if the offer was not on their website, it wasn't real.  I then sent an email to casinoroyale@rccl.com to check its validity and included the code I have been given.  Stil waiting for them to reply.....  Anyone used this successfully or have I been playing slots for no reason and fallen for a scam?!  Thanks 🙂

Hello, I redeemed the same offer for an Adventure of the Seas cruise in September.  I received the e-mail from MYVegas and sent it to casinoroyale.  I received the on board credit several days later.  Alas I have L & S this trip to next year and the credit was lost. These credits must be used by 12/31/20.

I've used this program multiple times and have never had issues as you describe. When you redeem the points you'll almost instaneously receive an email with a code and the instructions on how to forward the info to casino royale.

If you go into the game and check 'my wallet' your redemption show show there. In my wallet you can also cancel the redemption within 2 weeks.

You can contact them directly at support@playstudios.com

Typically the rule is that the sailing must be within 12 months of redemption.

I tried it for the first time recently and it worked just like it did for Trailcon. I'm thrilled because I had been playing it for a Vegas trip but I never found anything good to redeem the points for. I had forgotten about it until I read something on CC.

Thanks so much for replying!  I missed the Dec 31st 2020 bit though and was hoping to use on Jan 15th 2021 sailing.  Maybe they will give a little leeway due to the COVID issues?  I can only hope!

That is for the 10 and 5% off.  You should be good for OBC.

This is good information.  For some reason, I thought you had to book thru their agency and could not add it to an existing reservation.

I need to dig deeper as I have a lot of points over the years and have only used them a few times.

I had to L&S. I contacted then about the OBC (I just replied to the casino email where they applied the OBC) and they restored the OBC for use on my cruise next year.

Thanks again everyone for all the info - I emailed the clubroyale email address at Royal Caribbean and it was applied on my booking the following morning!  Just hoping my sailing from Singapore departs as planned in January (and we are allowed out of Aus!)

Can these rewards be used towards an existing booking ?

I would like to know this as well.  Last time I tried adding to an existing booking, it got denied by MyVEGAS.  Maybe I did something wrong.

Hi.

I added mine to an existing booking but I had only made the reservation the day before.  I think the booking has to been made in the last 30 days??

Another question I have relates to using the 10% off reward.  Does that just apply to the person who has earned the points on myVegas or to the whole booking?  If it is just the 'earner', unless the booking is for at least AUD$1500, it actually makes more sense to have the US$100 onboard credit (for half the reward points too!)

Thanks in advance

I have used it for OBC twice (although not yet one we could use) - the second time I got a very quick email in return from the company behind MyVEGAS, but the first time no email came (it took me emailing them and getting the required  email only after the email reply to my inquiry). Luckily it was all just prior to the deadline. So, sometimes it works as it should and sometimes you have to kick the machine. It would also help if they would rewrite the rules so they at least don’t read like an insurance policy.

I have just had my Cancelled August 23 Harmony OTS cruise "replaced" thru URComped, for a Feb 14' 21 Oasis  OTS Cruise.  Making me have my FIRST B2B, on Oasis !

My question is - MYVegas and MYKonami rewards - and usage on a fully comped cruise - BOTH legs of this B2B are thru URComped, first FULL Comp, 2nd Partly comped - I paid like $600 for cabin for 2.

Does anyone KNOW If I can USE the MyVegas on either of them ?    I am aware of the time limitation, but wonder if there was any WIGGLE Room  - esp on the 2nd sea leg of the journey.  I have just today comfirmed I'm Booked on  the 1st leg, so is IT a "new booking" ?

TIA

I used the 50K reward twice with no problems, latest was on an Empress cruise that was supposed to start on Monday (7/6).  Of course the cruise has been cancelled. Do I get myVegas points back or are the gone with the wind just like my trip insurance?
