bubbachief Posted June 17, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2020 Since the Edge doesn't have the Sky Lounge, where are the Elite breakfast and Happy Hour functions held?

Until the Virus is contained it's pretty obvious when cruises restart that component will not be available as self service but provided by the servers. Edit: Same thing with regard to hors d'oeuvre at the Cocktail hour in The Club. Edited June 17, 2020 by kwokpot
Rare hcat Posted June 17, 2020 #7 Share Posted June 17, 2020 Yup.. they will probably use the multi level table trays. Either way it's a nice perk.
davekathy Posted June 17, 2020 #8 Share Posted June 17, 2020 (edited) We prefer to be waited on. We've always liked that about the CC HH in the Sky Lounge. But sometimes the servers can be slow making the rounds, no matter the ship. Edited June 17, 2020 by davekathy

39august Posted June 17, 2020 #10 Share Posted June 17, 2020 We have also appreciated the servers for the canapes at the CC happy hour. So much more appetizing than the buffet style on RCI ships where the food was always open to paw over.
Rare hcat Posted June 18, 2020 #11 Share Posted June 18, 2020 On the EDGE they had a Cap Club event in EDEN...SR officers, music, canapes, etc,,,,BUT they invited EVERY Cap Club member. Place was so packed.,all the way up the ramp. I doubt they will be able to repeat such a crowded event once cruising resumes.

On the Transatlantic, there were so many Elite, Elite +, and Zenith members aboard that the Happy Hour was hosted in both The Club and in a section of Eden... Both were still quite crowded so we chose to use the unlimited drinks [from the same list during the same hours]--loaded to the Sea Pass card--at, in our case, the blissfully quiet/speedy service Casino Bar... No canapes but the bartender became so accustomed to our visit [and our orders; our glasses were never empty] that he quickly kept us well-supplied with snack mix too...
