keyboardjunkie Posted May 26, 2021 #51 Share Posted May 26, 2021 That does not surprise me with the increase of new crew arriving to staff the ships. Once the crew is vaccinated, I have faith that the color will be green.

The colors may give a clue on which ships are crewing up: Adventure, Allure and Mariner are red now. Odyssey still not on the list.
Biker19 Posted June 3, 2021 #53 Share Posted June 3, 2021 (edited) Odyssey is about to reach Florida but has yet to be listed. Also, interesting that RCI completely pulled Adventure from the list. Edited June 3, 2021 by Biker19

Biker19 Posted June 29, 2021 #55 Share Posted June 29, 2021 (edited) Interesting that with just a few days till she's supposed to sail, Freedom is still orange. Vision is now red. Navigator, which is arriving in Cádiz, was taken off the list, but Ovation, which is arriving in Seattle today, was added. keyboardjunkie Posted July 2, 2021 #57 Share Posted July 2, 2021 The reason for Explorer: "Explorer of the Seas arrived in PortMiami on Thursday to offer accommodation and assistance to the first responders that are aiding the Surfside work. According to Mr. Bayley, 80 first responders have already taken Royal Caribbean up on the offer, and up to 600 more will stay on Explorer of the Seas for a couple of weeks, including rescue dogs."

Biker19 Posted July 23, 2021 #59 Share Posted July 23, 2021 (edited) Interesting to see that Oasis is listed as having completed its simulated sailing and Explorer is back to its green self having completed its stay in Miami in support of the Surfside condo collapse. Strange on the Oasis as the test cruise for that ship is supposed to be August 22-28.

Biker19 Posted August 29, 2021 #66 Share Posted August 29, 2021 New 'gray' designation In other updates, CDC added a 'gray' designation in its color-coded system that applies ships not choosing to follow the conditional sailing order and language reflecting that as of July 23, the CSO and its accompanying measures are nonbinding recommendations for ships operating from Florida as a result of the state being granted a preliminary injunction limiting the agency's authority over how COVID-19 is managed on cruise ships. As earlier reported, cruise lines with ships operating from Florida are continuing to voluntarily comply with the CSO, which remains a requirement in other states. Biker19 Posted October 8, 2021 #69 Share Posted October 8, 2021 Odyssey finally fixed to Restricted. No listing yet for Anthem and Harmony due to start next month. No indication that any further test cruises will take place on future start ups (Navigator and Explorer don't have that listed as status). The chart is trending toward green for most ships. zekekelso Posted October 28, 2021 #71 Share Posted October 28, 2021 One of the things in the latest CDC missive is they are seriously thinking of ditching the color coding.
smokeybandit Posted October 28, 2021 #72 Share Posted October 28, 2021 The color coding system was dumb to begin with due to the vague definitions for orange and yellow
Biker19 Posted November 7, 2021 #73 Share Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) Explorer sattus changed to restricted (passed simulated sailing), Navigator changed to approved for simulated, but still no listing for Anthem (sailing tomorrow) nor Harmony (sailing later this week). clearlake_cruiser Posted November 7, 2021 #74 Share Posted November 7, 2021 Here's another: Adventure of the Seas is supposed to sail tomorrow (Monday 11/8) from Galveston, we hope to be boarding! But it hasn't been on the CDC list for months as it was sailing out of Nassau Bahamas. I assumed (incorrectly) that it would be appearing on the CDC list since it was sailing from the US after the drydock. I'm relieved to find out it isn't the only ship not showing!
