Rare jxtgreek Posted July 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2020 Still waiting on an email update on our changes. Scheduled to cruise 11/29. I’m still thinking even if we get scheduled on the Breeze it will eventually be canceled. Anyone agree or disagree?
pe4all Posted July 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2020 Updates/changes supposed to come out 7/20. As far as being able to cruise at the end of November - anybody's guess. Imho I think cruises will be cancelled through the new year, and perhaps even further than that from certain ports.
volfan22701 Posted July 13, 2020 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2020 our cruise is next April and the last email we got said they would have our room assignment and booking done on Monday the 20th. it will be interesting to see what their room choice will be to match a room that didn't even exist yet on the Radiance. we had chosen one of the new rooms to be added. ZoeyVictoria Posted July 13, 2020 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2020 I try to stay 1/2 a step ahead of the cruise lines, so I always have a Plan B in place. I had chosen the Breeze on April 18 to replace the October 4 sailing if/when it is cancelled. I am glad I made notes earlier, because I suspect availability and cost will be quite different now. 2Shoes2Go Posted July 13, 2020 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Haven’t been able to access our Cruise Manager page in three days now. Plenty of others reporting the same. Not too happy. And the Fantasy scrapping, that Carnival won’t own up. 💩 Edited July 13, 2020 by 2Shoes2Go Won’t allow

Carnival has stated they will notify everyone on (or before?) 20 July 2020. Until then, there is nothing you can do, unfortunately. The cruise will not show up on your bookings, and calling will result in the same message.

airdale Posted July 17, 2020 #11 Share Posted July 17, 2020 We are scheduled on the 11/21/20 Radiance now Breeze cruise also. With the CDC now stopping all cruising (over 250 people) until September 30, I have a feeling that cruising 2020 is not going happen. That fishing trawler out of Argentina that sailed for 35 sea days and came back to port with 57 out of 61 crew testing positive even though they had a 14 day mandatory quarantine and testing negative for COVID 19 prior to boarding and setting sail. This can not be a good sign. Don
a,j,&fam Posted July 18, 2020 #12 Share Posted July 18, 2020 we was scheduled for the Radiance for April 10 2021. Just check my cruise manager, able access it now. Still no email receive
2Shoes2Go Posted July 18, 2020 #13 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Finally able to log in, and see our bookings, late last night. We are RD/BR, Nov 21, 2020. No email confirmation yet. Retained same booking number. Same category of cabin assigned, OBC all remained on it, ($600 + stock OBC). So, a fair swap out. Not expecting to sail, however, in Nov. aquasea Posted July 18, 2020 #14 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Received our new assignments. Was on Deck 8 aft ext balcony and an interior a few doors down. Now, same aft ext balcony and the interior room is one deck down mid ship. I am calling to see if they can get that interior room closer
Butterbean1000 Posted July 18, 2020 #15 Share Posted July 18, 2020 We just got ours and we are soooooo happy! We went from at on veranda to a spa balcony!! We always books a spa balcony when we can. Happy dancing here!
BigAlexC Posted July 18, 2020 #16 Share Posted July 18, 2020 We were booked on a scenic ocean-view (deck 9, right above the bridge) on the 03/13 Radiance sailing. We have now been reassigned to a cove balcony on deck 2. I guess it is a fair trade off but the OC we had was 1 of 4 on the ship and had the floor to ceiling front facing windows. I'd rather be in a balcony on higher floor... Still thinking I will switch it up as I booked more so for the boat and that specific cabin. Not the itinerary necessarily... Tjcalley Posted July 18, 2020 #17 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Mine moved from mid ship ocean view to forward deluxe ocean view. I’m calling to see if we can get mid ship of aft. I honestly don’t think this sailing will happen (December 5th) but I want to change just in case
aquasea Posted July 18, 2020 #18 Share Posted July 18, 2020 I just called, No interior rooms on deck 8. They moved this cabin DOWN to deck 7. To move this cabin UP to deck 9 aft above us, it is $72 more and we lose $50 OBC. No thank you.
ugagal07 Posted July 18, 2020 #19 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Our Radiance to Breeze for 11/21 is back in My Bookings, but the cabin is listed as TBA. Not thrilled with that cabin assignment, lol. We have/had an aft extended balcony for 4 on the Radiance. Those don't exist for 4 on the Breeze. Now I'm TBA... Also, CHEERS, Internet, and Shareholder credit did NOT transfer yet. Rare Jamman54 Posted July 18, 2020 #20 Share Posted July 18, 2020 (edited) Our 4/18/21 Radiance to Breeze cruise is back in our cruise manager also. We had a bowling alley balcony next to the aft wrap on the Radiance, but on the Breeze they put us in a standard balcony about 8 cabins forward and it is an adjoining cabin. The cabin we should have been assigned to was still available, so I put a hold on it until my PVP can fix this later. My cabanas at HMC and Amber Cove did transfer over. Also worth noting is that the price is $300 less!😎 Edited July 18, 2020 by Jamman54
Clairescurtains Posted July 18, 2020 #21 Share Posted July 18, 2020 I noticed the price on ours for 3/27 was less. We had booked a lido room on Radiance [9] but lido on Breeze is higher up, got changed to a Breeze lido [10] room last night for a little bit less money. 😁 Now they need to add that $200 obc and this girl will be very happy. BigAlexC Posted July 18, 2020 #22 Share Posted July 18, 2020 (edited) After reassignment I decided to change the cruise entirely. Booked the 02/27 Mardi Gras sailing. With my current Casino offer this cruise was almost $600 cheaper than my original booking. That's for a Mardi Gras balcony cabin on deck 14 versus a Breeze cove balcony on deck 2. It is a 7 day instead of an 8 day but we felt it was a better value and a chance to sail a brand new boat. Entire call took less than 5 minutes. Let's hope this one doesn't get cancelled and it is safe to sail! Edited July 18, 2020 by BigAlexC

ProgRockCruiser Posted July 20, 2020 #25 Share Posted July 20, 2020 I noted in another thread related to this topic: So I haven't received any email yet from Carnival, but I did log into My Bookings and saw that my Radiance cabin has been fully transferred to a sort-of-equivalent on Breeze. We had an aft balcony, and we still do, but our Radiance cabin was at least one deck away from the active decks (Lido, Promenade) above and below, whereas now we are on deck 6, above the Limelight theater. I just noticed that our original cruise came with $200 OBC, and that has not changed. Hopefully they will tack on that extra $200 OBC soon. I also noticed our reserved dining time had changed (we had Early before, now Late - might leave that anyway). The fare has also not changed (I was hoping for a drop, like others have seen). I suppose it is possible the new cabin rate is equivalent. And finally, I note with annoyance that our previous final payment date was later in Sept, when it was 75 days before sailing, whereas now it is 90 days before sailing. It's not a big deal, but those 15 days could be where they end up canceling the cruise, altogether now. ("where they end up canceling the cruise", says everyone on this thread) <- spot the joke? I'm really not sure if I am hoping to cruise or wishing to have it canceled. I feel like Gollum vs Smeagol, without the hatred of those nasty hobbitses.
