Correct.

It is a view west across Lake Macquarie from Belmont to Wangi Wangi.

On the horizon the stacks for the long defunct Wangi Wangi power station are visible as well as the stacks for Vales Point power station.

The southern tip of the lake borders NSW Central Coast. The lake is over twice the size of Sydney Harbour.

My avatar to the left shows me on the lake.

Here are a few more images of what I sometimes have to put up with when having my dinner. I love where I live.

I was wondering what it was. It was just logic the it was the Suez Canal. I once saw an aerial photo of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier in the canal, what an interesting sight.
