Anyone have photos or videos of 14126 for 14526 on Oasis after Apmlification?

Recommended Posts

Fingers crossed our March 2021 cruise on the Oasis occurs.  We booked my in-laws in one of the new panoramic OV cabins on deck 14 that were added during the Amplification of the Oasis.  The cabin looks much larger than the other panoramic OV cabins on that level on the deck plan.  I have been able to find a video in YouTube of one of those class of cabins in the very front of the ship that is one of the average size narrow cabins.  If anyone has any photos or video they know of of either cabin 14126 or 14526 (next to the two panoramic suites), we would love to view them.  Heck, I would even like to hear about the cabin if you have stayed in either of them.  Any little glimmer of cruising positivity during the COVID shutdown will brighten our day.

I believe this is one one them - not sure which side or if this is the YouTube you’ve already seen.

Thanks for posting, but I had seen that video.  I believe that is one of the "regular" sized panoramic cabins that were added at Amplification.  If you look at deck plans, the two cabins right beside the added panoramic suites look to be twice the size of the cabin shown in this video and also a different shape.

You’re right, those two cabins are more roomy than the ones in the middle.  I sailed Oasis before the amplification and those weren’t available - so now I know for sure what to book next time.  Thanks for posting!

I thought you sail solo?

I have been. Someone wants to join me and I'm at the idk ... but right now I'm booked solo. Just doesnt seem like a great deal to me. I found the cabin unimpressive for being a new panoramic ocean view. Add more closet space. Even solo I like to hang everything. Maybe women just like closet space more than me, but I wasnt thinking boy I'd want to book that cabin. I can fill more than that closet space by myself.

Panoramic cabins are pretty cool, we had one of the forward ones on Adventure last year.

That closet is about the same as the one on the inside cabins added during previous drydock.

This woman would be okay with that closet, even sharing it.  When are we going? LOL 🤣😂

We'll split the cost -- hey we can even split a drink package SSSHHHH🤐  🤭 🤪

Lol well I'm not much of  drinker. Can we do a 3 day dinner pkg too?

I'm up for it. Let's go and split the cost. I loved oasis, did it twice out of florida already. I thought it was awesome. Did a ocean view balcony and later wish I'd picked inside balcony near diving pool. It's still on my to do list. I loved johnny rockets for early breakfast before it got too crowded. City cafe for lunch or the Solarium. Buffet never could eat and find a place to sit. Do you like shows? Good shows on oasis, I even saw a couple twice, shhhhh. I did standby and waited and they didnt fill.

But any cabin you want is ok and sure let's go and split. Just let me know when. I can pack fast.

LMAO 🤣 - I’m in!!

Here are my terms and conditions (T&A):

First order of business, upon boarding, we run over to the Breakout Room and sign up for Mission Control: Apollo 18.

Then we head over to the Abyss and Zipline to find out the first slots available – slip the attendants a double sawbuck to jump in front of the line when it opens.  Same for ice skating and the Flowrider.

Next, after all that running around we do lunch at Chops.  Then unpack (you can have the whole closet to yourself just leave me space for my formal attire). Then muster, and off to the CC sail away meetup at the Pool Bar.

Before dinner we take every dance, zumba, aerobics class they offer.

Happy hour in the Diamond Lounge – Dinner at Wonderland (or your pick)

Broadway Show (Cats) or Frozen Ice Show,  Aqua Show, Comedy (your pick)

Then we dance the night away at Blaze, Dazzles and finish off at Boleros with a Cuban Salsa ‘til they kick us out.  Nightcap at Schooner's - if closed, the Bionic Bar.

Next day repeat.  We’ll have to squeeze in a Sushi Class at Izumi, Guac Class at Sabor, Galley Brunch, and wine tasting (I’ll drink yours).  Okay, I'll give you Johnny Rockets for breakfast.  Oh almost forgot  - casino one night.  Track running @ 5:30am. Gym workout afterwards.

Do you still feel up to it?  Cabin 14126 or 14526?

We'll take plenty of photos and videos for Russ for a fee (there aren't any on the internet for those cabins yet) -- that may even pay for our cruise!

Good news rcl says remote muster. You watch on tv so we dont have to head out to muster.

I'm in on all the dance classes. I do them except for the couples one, I think was samba. Good exercise. We may have to do unlimited dining sounds like? Ok by me.

I've done the wine tasting several times. I drink all the white wine, but have a little trouble with the red wine, so we can share that. I like white wine. I'm not a teetotaler just a picky drinker. Still worth the money to me, even if I dont finish every drop of the red wine. Bargain.

We can do the chops lunch and wonderland dinner, but I'd like to get in Izumi one night.

Diamond lounge for pre dinner drink, check. I want to see all the shows. We can pre select. The only one hard to get in for us was the comedy club, because it's a small room.

I dont remember the abyss, maybe it's new or I didnt know its name. But all the rest I'm a check, check, double check. Maybe the character breakfast is gone, but I did it, though people on cc said I shouldn't, leave it for the kids, but I'm one big kid. I chickened out on the zip line last time. I've managed to break both collar bones, one way back in college, but I'll watch you and take your picture. But I'm in for the exercise classes.

How about the platinum dining room for a couple of breakfasts switched with johnny rockets. Can get free coffee mocha in there, though I really liked the hash browns with onions at Johnny rockets. We will have to do the aerobics and zumba to work that off. I'm sure not good for the waistline all those potatoes. Just once or twice for a treat. Solarium had good breakfasts and lunches. I love salad.

Ready to dance the night away after the show. I like to dance too. Sounds perfect. Though I'm keeping my white wine. Was planning on ordering wine with the 3 drinks on my card during dinner. I'm in.

Just saw the track running at 5:30am, maybe or a brisk walk. Early riser huh? I used to run some track. Depends how late we stay out. But ok.

Terrific!  Since Russ is paying for our cruise, let's upgrade to a Presidential or Owner's Suite, that way we won't have to buy additional drink and dining packages, it'll be included -- why waste money?  We'll do Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge instead of MDR and DL.

Muster on TV -- great!!!  Samba, Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Lambada, Paso Doble -- we'll do them all!

Abyss is the dry slide -- it was added to Oasis after the revamp.  It is awesome - did it on Harmony but this time I want a photo!

After the track run, gym workout, dancing, ice skating, flowriding, you can have one of each at Johnny Rockets + a milk shake to boot.  Oh and the suites by CK are on the top deck and we're not taking any elevators so add to that the stairmaster so there's room for "The Works" (Grilled country potatoes blended with cheese, onions, bell pepper, tomato & ham) at JR.

Coffee before track run is in the program.

Let's do it!

I missed where russ was paying for it. I lived in Boca Raton 13 years before this, so I know florida pretty well. Just give me the date.

Right now I'm booked b2b feb, sept, dec, b2b march 2022. Any other date I would love to. You can have your half of the closet. I can use drawers. I'm easy. I havent done the dry slide. But sounds fun.

I have to admit to being a bit lazy compared to your schedule. A few times I just sat in the lounge for drinks and drank wine and had the snacks and called it dinner. Guilty...figured it was my cruise and a real dinner not required, but if you want more ok. 3 full meals is almost too much to eat. I'll skip dessert. Might need that dinner to do track at 5:30 am.

We book the Presidential Suite, befriend the inhabitants of 14126 & 14526, liquor them up, take their Seapass cards, sneak into their cabins, take photos and videos of the cabins and sell them to Russ.  That will pay for our cruise.  We'll be the Bonnie and Clyde of the High Seas 🤣 😂

I lived in Boca Raton 13 years before this, so I know florida pretty well. Just give me the date.  Boca is about an hour North of where I live.  I'm familiar with that area -- very nice and less congested than this part of FL.

Oh I can sneak in another cruise. I've done as many as 8 in same year before. No need to wait 2 years.

I lived at 3000 south ocean blvd, end of boca beach, miss it. Still have friends in the area. I used to try and walk the beach every day, best shape I've ever been in. So I better get going to keep up with you.

I've done other lines and not concentrated on rcl, did ncl out of miami, princess a few times, celebrity, carnival. But time to get up a level on rcl. I seem to have missed a lot. But I'm good with squeezing another in. Np. Just get them to start up cruises again please and I'm ready.

3000 S Ocean - I've been - beautiful condo building on the beach close to South Inlet Park and Deerfield Beach.  I'm on the ocean as well.

Yes, I hear you -- sad to see ghost ships circling around these parts with nowhere to go.  Work your magic -- Galveston, Miami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, Tampa, East and West Coast ports need this more than we do.

We had one of the panoramic family cabins that RCCL turned into a suite class category a couple years ago before it was reclassified.  It was a fantastic cabin.  We had the 4 person panoramic cabin booked for this past March, but it was the first cruise cancelled due to COVID.  We were supposed to have the one that was on the corner but double the size as others, so we were bummed we missed out on this.  Fingers crossed that our in-laws get to enjoy their booked panoramic cabin on the Oasis in March 2021.

Bumping this thread. Would really like to see pics of those rooms, they look double the size of the other forward facing oceanviews.

I was surprised to see this thread pop up again.  I started it a year ago.  Sadly, as you would know by now, our March 2021 cruise never happened, so we never got to see that cabin.  I too would still love to see photos of it.  I rebooked us on the Oasis March 2023 to replace the March 2021 cruise we missed.  I just took an inside cabin for that cruise though because it would cost an extra $1000 to get that cabin in 2023 more than we are currently paying.  Maybe one day someone will stay in that cabin and post some photos or videos of it.
