The_Big_M Posted October 14, 2020 #26 Share Posted October 14, 2020 I'd agree November is a better time. While the ship can sail to avoid the cyclone, ports can't so your trip can be impacted and to travel all that way yet not go to planned ports isn't good. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 14, 2020 #27 Share Posted October 14, 2020 There are risks with the weather at any time. We did one cruise in November one year and had horrible weather - we got drenched in Noumea, Lifou was cancelled due to high winds so we bounced around in circles at sea all day, and the morning of the Mare stop was showery so we didn't bother going ashore. We had a gorgeous day at the Isle of Pines though.
GUT2407 Posted October 14, 2020 #28 Share Posted October 14, 2020 If the Bris Cruise left from Sydney it’d be a no brainer. But for me Sailing out of Sydney is so special I’d still give it the nod,

christodan Posted October 22, 2020 #30 Share Posted October 22, 2020 Erin, the RCL SP cruises are on their website now. Much better choices are now available.
Rare MicCanberra Posted October 22, 2020 #31 Share Posted October 22, 2020 Quantum of the seas instead of Serenade of the seas, matter of opinion which is better for the SP.
