Car service from London hotel to Southampton

We’ll be in London in September and we’re looking for reasonable car service to Southampton.  We do not want to take a train or bus.  Any suggestions?

I went through a couple of pages and didn’t see taxis, only buses and trains.  Thought by posting a thread specific to taxis/car services, I’d get some specific responses.

They do cover car services, but you are right there is a lot there.

We've used both Smiths and Blackberry Cars to take us from London to Southampton.  Excellent service by each.   The trips were pre-Covid, so neither were very recent experiences, obviously, but I would definitely reach out to these companies the next time we need such a transfer.

When we were looking for the same transportaion I sent a message to https://westquaycars.com/. They seemed very reasonable IMO.

Blackberry from LHR into London for pre-cruise and Smith's from London hotel to Southampton and back to LHR....Amazing service from both.

We have used Smiths a number of times and they have always been excellent. I have used for groups up to 8 people with luggage and they have a good range of vehicles to accommodate. Great drivers, too.
