Without exception, I have never found any of these "deals" are cost beneficial for me.  Whenever I ask the price without all of the "bells and whistles", the per day price for the cruise  requires much fewer expenditure of $$$.

Like anything else you need to understand what you are buying and understand the value to you vs. the list price that the vendor may be assigning.
