Travelling2Some Posted June 28, 2021 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2021 We have had those cabins twice and liked them very much. I enjoyed sitting in the little window seat reading my book and looking out at the activity on the promenade.
cruisetmc Posted August 14, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2021 We had one on the Explorer. Loved it. There's a love seat and under the window another seat. You will enjoy this.
ldubs Posted August 15, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2021 We had the same promenade window cabin on AOS for two separate cruises. I guess it is safe to say we enjoyed it. Can't really think of any downsides. I would do it again.
Ashland Posted August 18, 2021 #8 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Keep your drapes closed at certain times....As we sat at Sorrento's one night we had quite the view of an elderly man.
BklynBoy8 Posted October 16, 2021 #9 Share Posted October 16, 2021 We were blessed to have been upgraded to a Deck Cabin on the QE2 with the Promenade Window. The Windows were from floor to ceiling and curtained. There was another curtain for night that were like light blocking. We enjoyed seeing the outside during the morning without walkers disturbing us. Even in the afternoon no problem. We know of others that had windows on other ships that were oversized Portholes. They too enjoyed the cabin.
