Where are you staying in Nassau before cruising on Adventure of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

So I’ve seen the question pop up about pre-cruise hotel stays in Nassau before sailing on Adventure of the Seas.. I’d love to know where everyone is thinking about staying! I know that the Hilton was announced as the check-in location, so that seems pretty convenient!

We went to the Bahamas recently and did our own research to see the best options (location, cost, activities provided), and I think if we get to book the cruise, we might choose to stay at Margaritaville.

Thoughts??

And yes, we really enjoyed Paradise Island - more than downtown... It gives a more luxury island experience. But downtown is definitely great for those looking for a local feel. Hoping more restaurants open up before cruising starts!

We've decided to live on the edge and fly in same day since we don't leave until 9. But if we were to change our minds, I would want to stay at the Hilton just for convenience.

We are living on the edge as well for the July 10th sailing.  We really don't like to do it, but also decided to give it a try since we don't sail until 9pm.   Our connection goes through Chicago.  I expect the flight to be full of cruisers.

We're at the Hilton.... only because of the check-in.  🙂  Hyatt had my eye.

Our original plan was to fly in day of, and hop on the ship, but after the airline cancelled our morning flight and put us on an afternoon flight, I wasn't going to get until the ship until like 8pm and that's just too late!

We are doing the same as of now for July 10th. We had a morning flight until American changed everything around. Now it’s 3:20 before landing in Nassau. I’m really not that excited about it!! Too close for comfort

Hyatt Baha Mar.  Used points and it looks pretty nice.  Rides to and from might be a bit pricey though.

We have gone to the casino at Baha Mar, it is a lovely hotel and casino complex. We took a cab there from the cruise port and I think it was $20 one way. Baha Mar is over at the Cable Beach area.

Baha Mar is beautiful! We love Atlantis too.

We are staying at the Hilton. Contemplated Baha Mar for several weeks but convenience won out. I think we will plan a long weekend just to stay at Baha Mar, it looks beautiful.

This is a great hotel with lots of stuff.  It is located about half way between the airport and cruise port. Enjoy the resort

Baha Mar is a great place to stay.  It is located midway between airport and cruise port.  There are a few places outside of the resort;  the Hilton is next to cruise port.  You can walk from hotel right to your ship.  There are all the shops and Senor Frogs is on back end of hotel and McDonalds is across the street.  Have stayed at both the Hyatt and Hilton many times.

smokeybandit;  I do not know if either are open;  however, I really believe McDonalds is open.  It is the only one on the island, and it stays busy.
