Mardi Gras arrival on June 4th

Don't know when it is set to arrive in PC, but I talked to my PVP this week and she said the Mardi Gras will be docking in Miami first so all the crew can be vaccinated. She was hoping to get a tour of the ship while it's in Miami. Not sure what day they are to arrive. Anybody else hear this?

Does anyone know what time the Mardi Gras will be arriving in Port Canaveral on Friday, June 4th?  I would like to drive down to Jetty Park to watch her arrival.

Thank You,

Me too!  Hope we can find out the time, and it isn't in the dark, although I would still go watch.  Jetty Park isn't open very early morning or late night unless you are staying in the campground.  (7 am to 9pm).  Sometimes those ships come in the wee hours.

When she first left, the ETA was 5 am. Not sure if that's changed or not (and there was no mention of Miami). I put little faith in what PVP's relay - as they're often passing along outdated or incorrect info.

Just found this on Vessel finder.com.

The vessel is en route to the port of Cape Canaveral, United States (USA), sailing at a speed of 16.0 knots and expected to arrive there on Jun 4, 09:00.

Passed the Dream, "inching" closer!

What is the Dream up to crossing the Atlantic? An overhaul of some sort before her new home in Galveston?

Can't wait.

Will be interested in seeing what the bars and nightclub us going to look like.  Dance club will be Limelight lounge probably.  Lots of places to dance and drink on this ship.  Definitely will fit the name.

It looks like the theater design is a classic design and not the kind on the Vista class ships.  I am happy about that!

Tony the blogger says he paid the $5 jetty fee, so he can go out on the jetty at 5 am and when it arrives he can film it for his live blog. Not saying he is good or bad. .. he just is filming mardi gras arrival. And will do live updates. Not even sure that's the best viewing spot. Lol the beach is free to access. My tablet will ding friday when the ship comes in is all I know.

The condo I bought there is still under construction being updated. But that's why I know anyone can get out on the beach. Open to anyone. Hes not a local just went to film mardi gras.

Tony is great from La Lida Loca.  I am sure he will take great videos of MG arriving.

Let's start a ***** for Tony to sneak onto the ship and roam around with his video camera!  (EDIT - I had no idea that a go.. and fund... and me would trigger a CC edit... live and learn)!!

Can't understand why in the world Carnival hasn't had someone on there (by now) to essentially do a good ship tour. Perhaps she's not really finished yet -- LOL !

The best place to go and see the ship would be to board the Victory Casino ship literally parked right next to it. Victory heads out at 11:00 AM with early boarding one can really check it out.

Good thought. Though, given the size of the Victory, you'd probably not be able to manage a good (look across/down) angle on much more than the anchor!

Cheryl calls the Victory "the stinky boat" (owing to the pervasive cigarette stench). 😄

Smoking only outside now so it is no longer an issue. I am on it about once a month just to get my cruise fix and the view of cruise ships is pretty cool. I have a video from last Friday passing the Vision of the Seas in the channel....you just can't get any closer without actually boarding the ship.

It looks like they have multiple theaters.  The one in Grand Central looks unique, and one of those places you have to experience both at day and night.

Everything about this ship looks amazing.  If my August cruise is cancelled, I will rebook for next year.
