Any hint on what that capacity was?   It seems the suites were pretty much fully booked so I guess they really didn't do any capacity control on the Retreat areas.   May have to frequent the rest of the ship to get space🤑

From what they said they will be limiting and closing categories as seen fit. I don't think they would sell out suites ...I know there were plenty still available on the 26th sailing before they shut it down.

Yes, that's how X has been handling inventory.

7/3 there were only a hand full of S1 and CS when I checked a few days ago.   There were over 50 S1,2 when I booked 2 weeks ago.

That doesn't mean that Celebrity made everything available in suite category. I doubt very much they would sell out suites/retreat 100% when the ship is limiting to 50% capacity.

Royal Caribbean had a Community Forum in cooperation with US Virgin Islands tourism. Here’s the press release from the USVI Government House on Wednesday, June 16 in which Royal Caribbean states that when Celebrity Edge makes its first port call in St Thomas July 6 it will be at approximately 30% guest capacity.

If you have been watching the videos from Millennium and Adventure the ships look dead. 30% would probably be correct.

AOS is supposed to be around 1000 pax. It is pretty dead. It would be especially dead if 998 of those 1000 weren’t ‘creators’ 😂Edge may have ~500 more on board but I have a feeling it will be pretty sleepy.

Right....Adventure is like a group "creators" sailing.

Are we going to complain if our sailings are less that 50% capacity?  I'm not lol...

Absolutely not. What we are laughing about is the Adventure sailing out of Nassau. Since the limited capacity...the sailing looks like its nothing but a bunch of vloggers aboard. If you look on YouTube there are at least a dozen vloggers on that sailing competing against each other. Half of the videos are of the other vloggers🙄

I’ve watched a couple of those YouTube Vloggers.  And they do seem to be tripping over each other.

That said, AOS does look relatively empty.  That’s not a bad thing.  I would think reservations…..for anything, are pretty easy to come by, too.
