manc Posted June 22, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2021 Please can some one tell me if these cabins have a walk in shower. I can never remember what they have. Thinking of doing b2b2b

manc Posted June 22, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted June 22, 2021 Thanks. After 15+ cruises you would think that I would be able to remember
Belfastman Posted June 22, 2021 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2021 On Quest 8093 and 8009 are not suites they are veranda cabins. So both have a small shower behind the curtain.
manc Posted June 23, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted June 23, 2021 That's what we expected. There are few cabins left on the b2b2b we are planning but we really want to revisit some ports and explore new ones. We decided Balcony + was the only option and will need to move for the final leg. Everyone is dreaming of getting away. Our last trip was Miama to Cuba, ABC islands and others, Bermuda and then NY. Followed by NY, Charleston, Bermuda and back to NY. Rabo Posted June 23, 2021 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2021 (edited) We were in 8090 on the the Journey for our Australia and New Zealand cruise in 2017. 8090 is next door and a mirror image of 8093. At that time, they were category VX and the deal we had made it available at a great price. Stateroom size is identical to other Veranda staterooms, with the standard veranda step-in shower with a curtain. Differences are slightly larger verandas and being aft facing. Reviews here have been mixed about the aft facing staterooms, with some people loving it and some people hating it. We loved it! Sitting on the veranda, beverage in hand, and watching the wake of the Journey was most relaxing. Edited June 23, 2021 by Rabo
Rare uktog Posted June 23, 2021 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2021 We have done the aft VX as well - I was not keen on Deck 8 (noise from above) but Deck 7 was really good. Its all right if you have to be up early (its not an issue at night as they close around 10).

We’ve done the aft on both 6 and 7 and loved it.
TeaBag Posted June 23, 2021 #9 Share Posted June 23, 2021 Thank you posters. We are booked on deck 7 and very much looking forward to sitting and watching the wake.
