That's what we expected. There are few cabins left on the b2b2b we are planning but we really want to revisit some ports and explore new ones. We decided Balcony + was the only option and will need to move for the final leg. Everyone is dreaming of getting away. Our last trip was Miama to Cuba, ABC islands and others, Bermuda and then NY. Followed by NY, Charleston, Bermuda and back to NY.

We were in 8090 on the the Journey for our Australia and New Zealand cruise in 2017. 8090 is next door and a mirror image of 8093. At that time, they were category VX and the deal we had made it available at a great price. Stateroom size is identical to other Veranda staterooms, with the standard veranda step-in shower with a curtain. Differences are slightly larger verandas and being aft facing. Reviews here have been mixed about the aft facing staterooms, with some people loving it and some people hating it. We loved it! Sitting on the veranda, beverage in hand, and watching the wake of the Journey was most relaxing.

We have done the aft VX as well - I was not keen on Deck 8 (noise from above) but Deck 7 was really good.  Its all right if you have to be up early (its not an issue at night as they close around 10).

We’ve done the aft on both 6 and 7 and loved it.
