What would the process be to change staterooms between itineraries- meaning would all hanging items need to be repacked along with all else, or could they be transferred on hangers? Trying to determine if worth the hassle. Thank you They will bring a trolley for the stuff hanging in the closets. No need to pack. You will need to pack the stuff in the drawers and any personal items. They will move everything, pretty easy actually.

Almost painless. Butler and housekeepers will move you.
manc Posted July 9, 2021 #28 Share Posted July 9, 2021 You're allowed to transfer items to the safe as soon as the room has been cleared and checked sonpassports etc can be safely stored while you explore. We are booked gor b2b in the same cabin on our next trip and then moving for thec3rd cruise. We have stayed in the same cabin previously as well as having to love and the staff are BRILLIANT and minimal disruption for passengers
Rare Vineyard View Posted July 10, 2021 #29 Share Posted July 10, 2021 Thank you both so much for your responses. Sounds like it is worth it to move if the cabin is more attractive. Just curious on the safe transfer - I am guessing that it would be at least 10:00a before that next cabin is cleared?

Your room stewards and butler will be aware that you are staying on and moving. They get a list and will work on getting your cabin ready first. As far as timing is concerned, it's very much dependent on how soon the old occupants vacate the cabin. I've been able to move in at 8am, but normally it's around 9 or 9.30. The room steward will be keen to transfer the hanging clothing ASAP so that they can get on. They will close the doors to the cabin corridors, but you can still use them. The doors are heavy watertight ones. Phil Edited July 10, 2021 by excitedofharpenden
