Our room looks the same, just opposite of you in 1612.  Added the balcony pics for others thinking about staying in the Royal Suite.  Hot tub will be used often at night.

It took us quite awhile to get things setup but enjoying ourselves immensely.     Introduce me if you see me around.   We will be at the Captain's Toast today at noon.    One of the obligation of being a Zenith is we have to show up early and then they introduce the Zeniths -   The only other Zenith I know is Wanda but find out at the gathering.

The usually give the Ladies flowers and the guys a bottle of wine.

Is that a new scupture?  I do not recall seeing it on either EDGE departure.

Maybe some of our Team CC can answer.   This is my first time out of Terminal 25.    Last time we were scheduled out of 25 but when we arrived at the terminal they were at the other terminal.   I didn't even notice it except from the ship.

Have a wonderful cruise Jim!

I will check up on this thread to read your posts. Thanks for taking us armchair cruising. We got off the Equinox on August 27. Enjoyed it a lot. Wonderful crew and staff.

Glad you are along.     I would give the crew a 110% rating so fare.   Could not be more accommodating.

Thanks Jim for posting all this info, I am enjoying “traveling” with you.

In St. Kitts, we usually take a Celebrity shore excursion and then walk around  the port and visit the shops. Will this still be allowed or upon our return to the port, will we have to immediately get back on the ship.
In St. Maarten, if we take a ship’s excursion, will we be allowed to be dropped off in town and return to the port on our own?
From everything I am reading, I would guess the answer is “no” to both questions but just want to confirm.

interesting your uber and lyft prices are similiar.

from the ship to hard rock casino, uber was like $19 and lyft was $16.
coming back (casino to ship), uber was $15 and lyft was $12.

my conspiracy theory:

i loaded a $25 giftcard for my uber acct.

uber might be taking advantage of that and charging me 20% more?

I guess they both use a different formula for Surge Pricing.

LOL.... I have my credit card loaded but have alerts turned on so every time I book I get an alert of a pre-approval and then the  next morning the actual charge.

Nice upgrade!  We can leave ours home.

Not sure about the toiletries..I love all  the CO Bigelow products.. I use them at our vacation home and were happy to see them on  EDGE.

.  As long as the products are not allergy inducing..okay for a cruise week or two,

Worst ever was when they had the lemongrass products....best as a mosquito repellent!

I don't think they will cause any allergies.    I used it last night for the first time and if it has a scent it very very mild.      I agree the lemongrass one ..... someone reminded me that that the Bigalow had a pepermint essence.    I had forgotten about that.   (at least I think it was the Bigalow).

Looking forward to your report.

is Mircea still in the bar in the Retreat? Tell him “Multumesc” - thank you in Romanian, from us! As well to Jonathan and Yulia, they will take good care of you.

Yes we dropped in last night around 7:30 and were the only guest in the Retreat.    Gave us a nice opportunity to meet Micea.   Great conversationalist.    We didn't realize Yulia was his wife.    They are such a cute couple.

Both Jonathan and Yulia are really engaging and we can tell this is a going to be one of the best cruises ever.

One thing I always do on Day 1 is take a picture of the Itinerary.   A little decoding if you have never looked at it closely.

The Days in Bold are the Chic Nights.

If there is an * next to the day it means a time zone change.   Didn't realize we have no time zone changes on this cruise.

I put the clipped itinerary into my favorites for quick reference.    The schedule matches all the changes we received just before the cruise.

Sounds like a fun day for sure.     Is the Donkey Sanctuary shown on the map?

Yes, it is on the map, on the Southern route.    Someone mentioned earlier taking a hat and sunscreen.   Also make sure  you have bottles of water, and we brought some packaged snacks with us, as there is not a lot of places to stop if you head south.   I had read about food trucks before we went, but we didn't see any.    There is Sorobon Beach Resort  about halfway through, that has a restaurant and bathrooms.

This was our itinerary (well almost!), but had Aruba and Curacao for the last two ports, replacing St Kitts and Grenada.

St Lucia has always been my favorite.

rather go back to aruba and curacao.

at least i can get off the ship w/o ship excursion.

cruise to nowhere...
