We have had both our shots the 2nd one on Feb. 11, 2021. We are going on a b/b leaving Oct. 2nd, are we going to have to get a 3rd shot??

As of today you are considered fully vaccinated by Celebrity.   Who knows if/when they change the rules wrt boosters.

To my knowledge a booster isn’t available to the general population yet. I believe that medical personnel and first responders can get a 3rd shot.

Eventually, boosters will be recommended, but it is a bit of a political hot potato - the White Hoise jumped the gun by saying publicly that boosters would start on Sept 20 -FDA isn’t ready to recommend.

But if you have any reason to think you are immunocompromised, speak to your health care provider about eligibility for a 3rd shot now. Stay well.

Boosters are available NOW if you had Pfizer for your first two shots and are immunologically compromised.  Modera not yet approved.  The AZDH said general population can get shots starting on September 20th.

A booster being required?  Cannot begin to guess what will be required in the future.  Had a trip to the EU planned and many countries are starting to restrict Americans.  Did not think that would happen.

I have a compromised immune system and got my 3rd dose of Moderna last Monday.
