We just booked the Mexico cruise in March and would like some feedback about Bliss.

we’re in a large balcony (cat B6) and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on these staterooms.  Got the air included for a crazy low price.

any comments would be appreciated.

In the header of the forum, below the red bar regarding COVID-related discussions, there's a drop-down labeled 'See posts about: select ship'. Click the drop-down and select Bliss, that's a pre-populated search for posts regarding the ship, probably all the info you need...

You could even edit that search to add the cabin category to find specific info on that.

bliss is so much better than breakaway. the forward lounges make all the difference. i was in haven so had 2 stories but even non haven has one story and it's pretty big. sadly we didnt get to go on GSC on christmas day because of waves. and then everyone got on the pool deck and it looked like a 3rd world country with chairs every which way and you could barely walk. thankfully i'm not a pool person. i dont count being squeezed in like that much of a vacation. but thousands of others do. i guess they dont have pools at home lol.

the buffet is much better in the layout than the breakaway. however i dislike the single narrow center aisle you are forced to use on the public lower decks. for such a wide ship it really feels narrow in some places. the casino is walled in for the smokers so thats good. the texas place, teppanyaki were very good. the steak place..i wouldnt go back. filet at teppanyaki was better as was the service.

the shows are excellent and i'm not a singing /dancing type of guy. i still really enjoyed them. so take a chance and see them. i dont know if bliss has behind the scenes tours but if they do, do it. i loved my tour on my princess ship.

If you want lots of balcony time, they are great rooms. Consider how much you want to be on your own vs out on the main deck with other people partying.

The balcony extends out further than other decks (making it a large balcony) which means everyone above you will be looking down at you. Don’t do anything you don’t want to be permanently on the internet.

The room Is above the theater so you will get reverberating bass when shows or rehearsals are in progress. Usually not a big deal if you are out and about at night.

You are as far forward as possible, so during heavy seas, you will get a lot of movement and hear the sea crashing on the bow.
