I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere, I'd been trying to keep an eye open for it and hadn't seen anything before now.

The Vibe on Viva is available for booking by either chat or calling NCL.  It still doesn't show up under entertainment on either the ap or the website.

We got ours:

Thank you!   I am going to call today.   Glad you got yours as I remember you feel the same way as my family does.

I just called and the passes can be reserved for sailings up to 12/31/24.   Since our cruise is in February 2025, I was not able to reserve our passes.

I tried the chat function, and they referred me to the phone number (not sure if it's really the chat function limitations or just the guy on the other side of the box that was the problem).  However, given that we're on a 10-day port-intensive cruise, that means a fee of $319/pax for the cruise.  Not sure it'd be worth it, given our limited time on the ship.

if we reserve tables at the complimentary dining rooms, like hudsons, is it a big deal if we are running late or decide not to go ?

Both are rather huge and never saw them with a line-up.

both hudson's and the commodore room accept reservations on the prima. i assume they would on the viva. reservations are meaningless, however, as you will still have to wait in line in order to get to the hostess desk. i did this several times on a recent 21 day B2B. there was always a line for hudson's and they distributed beepers, even to those with reservations. less so, for the commodore room, which was in fact closed for all of the second leg of my B2B. i have reviews of most prima restaurants in my recent cruise critic review.

no problem if you are late or are a no show to a complimentary restaurant for which you hold a reservation.

if the carpert is everywhere what i saw you will not see longer what is front and back,

but not sure if the pic was from crew area or guest area,

if you be at the viva post a pic.

Triangular arrows point forward. Not every area of the ship has this carpet, so you won't see it in every picture.

Prima. There are no pictures of the Viva yet as far as I know. The carpet may not even be installed yet, at least not everywhere.

I just read on another thread that rumors are The Starbucks in the Viva’s indulge food hall will be removed to make room for more indulge seating, which still leaves a Starbucks onboard, just one instead of two. Just rumor? Or can anyone confirm?

I can't confirm.  It's an encouraging update, if it's true.  I keep hearing about seating problems in that venue, so, that would mean NCL is listening.  Good sign if true.

It would be nice indeed.  But I don't think that adding more seats in the venue is a factor should they made that decision.  For the 22 days I was on the Prima, I never saw lots of people buying stuff at that Starbuck.  If they remove it, it would be because they don't make money with it. This ship has been designed to maximize additional revenue.  X-Large Casino that reduced the atrium, X-Large Galaxy Pavillion that reduce 60% of the observation lounge,  X-Large Vibe that removed 75% of the normal space of the Garden Cafe, Private office for the Art auction people that removed lots of space at Sid Norman,  etc. etc.  If you look at the amount of space allocated to Duty free shops compared to similar or even larger size ships, it is huge.

We had reservations on the Prima for Hudsons and though there was a long line they said if you have a reservation go right up to the stand and they will seat you. We were seated immediately.
