When I asked my PVP, it was explained that when I added my sister, she got $300 of the original $600. OBC.

Yeah. This would tick me off.

In the future if you add someone, you may want to see if your PVP can keep the OBC on your own reservation.  There have been times where I bring a friend and pay for everything and my PVP puts the full OBC on my reservation.  She was able to do that in the past, at least.  With all the OBC flying around, it may not be possible.

It wasn't lost, you got exactly what you booked. You received $600 for an 8-night cancelled cruise. You booked a 4-might cruise that got cancelled. 4-night cruises get $300 OBC. You should have booked a longer cruise if you wanted a larger OBC if it was cancelled. This is where the customer needs to understand the policies.

Could not agree more.  Even $300 is a better return vs. any savings account these days.

This specific offer for the $600/$300 to rebook was intended to give those who were on the original cancelled cruise maximum flexibility so the original roommates did not need to cruise together.  Most other OBC offers at targeted to one person.

Had an 8 day booked in 2020.... I was given FCC and 600 OBC when that got canceled.

Used FCC and booked a 4 day that was just recently canceled.

Trying to book a cruise right now but I was told my OBC is now 300 cause my most recent was 4 day. I explained I had 600 OBC coming on that 4 day cause of the canceled 8 day. PVP said sorry, PVP's supervisor said sorry, now on hold with the next supervisor I assume....

I will update but it blows my mind that they cannot comprehend that they just took 300 OBC from me....

We had the same exact thing happen...except I had also booked a room for the kids so I lost $600 ($300 from each room). I went from my cancelled 7 night Mardi Gras to booking 6 night Horizon (also cancelled) and then realized it once I rebooked another 7 night cruise. I just wish my PVP warned me because I would have stuck to 7-8 night cruise if it meant keeping my full OBC. 😞

It was all in the disclosure that you received and agreed to. You had the $600 OBC for the 6-day cruise. You must have been happy for it. Now your new cruise cancels, the same rules apply, and now you don't like them. I don't know how people can get upset with their or decisions. Choices have consequences.
