People had a great time dancing and some just watching....always enjoy the 70's party. They have changed it to the 80's party on some ships.

I was unaware they had started 80's parties on some ships.  As a large part of RCCL's main customer base was not really around in the 70's or too young to appreciate the music at the time, I would love to see an 80's night.

I would love to see the crew doing the Thriller dance, freestyling to Footloose, breakdancing, spinning on cardboard, doing the worm, and best of all...sending the rather large crew member who often dances as one of the Village People running at the cruise director and jumping in the air to do the Dirty Dancing lift would be classic.

Did not know this.  Seems like there are a few forward thinking CD who think outside of the box.

I may be in the minority but I like variety on ships.   Sure there can be signature games like the Quest and Love and Marriage but ships can have their own personality,  They don't have to be mirrors. Most of the inconsistency between ships are not in the passenger favor such as what's included or not in the beverage package, unlimited dining package, something in the Diamond club etc.

Hello I was wondering if you could help with the above.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone who has gotten off the ship at Coco Cay please post your insights, likes, dislikes.

Thanks, Joe

That was our favorite stop...quite the typical idea of Paradise, lush plantings and flowers everywhere with tall swaying palms and bright turqoise waters.  Even a rainbow in the morning after a light shower!  Nice music playing and chill some places, stimulating in others.  We adored the Beach Club, will certainly be monitoring the bookings for a reasonable price on that again.  The food was stellar, if you do Beach Club don't miss the Coconut Lobster sandwich.  Chops does the food there and it was tasty.

Loved that this time, the trams will come meet you near the ship, so they expressed us right to the club.  Off the ship ramp and at the club within about 5 minutes!  Coming back, we asked for a tram and it was right there, picked us up and zoomed to ship, another 5 minutes.  Gotta love that!  Last time I had to get a beach buggy wheel chair I was so tired, so it was a pleasant surprise.  It was, all in all, terrific!  The pool water was a little warm, but the ocean was just right.  It was mighty hot there that day.  But we stayed in the awesome infinity pool all day. Everything was sparkling clean too, someone came and strained the water many times just to get the blown in sea grass and palm out.

We snagged the beds near the bar, but honestly, they are so hard to enter and get out of, I'd take a regular beach lounger the next time.  I don't know how anyone could not love the place, something for everybody!

Can’t speak to Odyssey, but they did do love and marriage on Mariner. Crammed everyone into a venue that was way too small. We couldn’t even get a seat, standing room only.

No distancing in dining room.

I just came off an 8 night Odyssey sailing. Embarkation and debarkation was an absolute breeze as we were sailing with ONLY just over 1000 passengers. From parking lot to cabin in 20 minutes. The ship was absolutely gorgeous and immaculate....crew is cleaning all the time. Protocols are in place and weren't a bother...felt VERY safe at all times. Crew is Wonderfull ...you are sailing on a ship with more crew than passengers. They couldn't do more for you....very friendly and so happy to be sailing. No waits for anything and everything on the ship up and running. Shows every night as well as several parties including the 70's party. Elevators were mostly always empty....think I can count on one hand how many times I shared an elevator with anyone. Masks were worn indoors walking around but could take them off at many venues once inside...including the casino...they became second nature and weren't a bother at all. It was like being on an exclusive sailing that will spoil the heck out of you. This was my second sailing since restart as I was also on the very first Edge sailing out. I couldn't recommend cruising more right now...just an excellent experience that will be fondly remembered when cruising is back to full capacity. So if you have been holding back because of current testing protocols and masks......think gain....it is so worth cruising right now!!!

Not second nature to me yet.  I'll start again once the safety blanket requirement is dropped!
