ramja96 Posted October 26, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2021 (edited) We just got off the Mariner of the Seas yesterday from a 3 nighter (compliments of Casino Royale) and I have to say, the new protocols are not as inconveniencing as I expected. I actually appreciated all the work and effort that RC (and the other cruise lines) have gone through to get back to sailing. Having to carry a mask everywhere to be put on every time we went indoors was easily remedied with an eyeglass-style strap that we clipped to the earpieces of our mask and let hang from our neck when indoors. (It even made a handy crumb catcher when chowing down at the WJ) 😉 Can't wait for the next one in 104 days on Indy. jimvern1966 Posted October 26, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2021 I took my first cruise since 2019 earlier this month on the Freedom of the Seas, and it was so good to be back. I agree, the mask wasn't to inconvenient. I'm on the Independence of the Seas next month, and I can't wait. Life is good 😎

GJustice Posted October 27, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2021 We just did 9 nights on Indy and it was GREAT to be back. Really had missed being on board a RC ship. Staff really acted glad to see us. With limited capacity (~1200 passengers I heard) they were almost OVER ATTENTIVE at dinner. Going again in January and can hardly wait.
