Tonight was our second Evening Chic and of course that meant lobster night.  Although severly tempted to do a comparison between the Luminae lobster and the Lobster in the MDR, I managed to resist that urge.

Instead I had Wida, our waitress, add the scallops to my Luminae broiled lobster.   They were both delicious.  My wife is not a lobster fan and had the Cornish game hen instead.

Siraz, our Sommelier, gave my wife a delightful sparkling red and me a glass of champagne to accompany our starters.  They were both very good.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the pairings that Siraz has done for each meal.  I do not think I have ordered a specific wine on this cruise except for a glass of the Oppulence Chardonnay in Murano.

Here some wine and food porn to end the night.

Thanks for posting the Daily Planners.  I just saw Celia Garland was on board!  WE LOVE HER!!!!!!  Hope she stays on for our Jan 2 sail.

No idea how that works.  The magician / comic that was on our cruise last week was on another ship this week.

Here are the Daily planners .  Shows vary each night and there is no guarantee that what was scheduled on this cruise will be repeated next week.

We did not go to any shows. We rather enjoyed certain entertainment in the Ensemble lounge, grand foyer, and other areas around the ship.

Wow thank you so much for uploading the Dailies. I know my week will have some differences because there will be a holiday show but if the rest of the week is similar it doesn't look like I'll be missing much, which is OK - just happy to be cruising. We usually love the acrobatic shows, so this is great to know and set the right expectations. Thank you!

You are welcome.

As. I said we do not often attend the shows but we did try and catch performances of the Acoustic Duo Opalira.  A couple from Argentina with a wide range of music styles.  If you have a chance to see them perform in the Ensemble Lounge we highly recommend it.

Keff, a solo musician, is also a good choice.

Today is our last full day and we are in Nassau.  After enjoying the extra hour of sleep last night, we set clocks back to US Eastern, we had a leisurely breakfast in Luminae.

We had been invited to watch the sail into Nassau from the helo deck but my DW did not want to get out into the wind. Turned out that it was very windy, so while she had a pot of Earl Gray in Cafe al Bacio, I went with a number of other Retreat guest to the helo pad to watch us sail into port.  Since I had captured a lot of pictures during last cruises sail away, I just talked with a few of our fellow guest before joining my DW on our balcony.

BTW, the Reflection brings the total number of cruise ships in Nassau to five.

We did nothing but sit and relax until time for lunch.  She decided that she wanted Udon so we headed to Sushi on Five for lunch. We shared a nigiri trio and gyozo and she had the Tempura udon and I had the spicy tuna.  These were some of the best shipboard sushi we have had in a couple of cruises.

After lunch we went to the Oceanview Cafe for desert before returning to our room for more R&R.

Thanks for the awesome reviews!  We will be staying in 1665 soon! O you know the current COVID situation on board? I saw another post indicating there was a shore excursion that came back with people sick and testing positive today.

One person came back from the excursion and was tested as he wasn't feeling well.  He's positive.  All others on the bus excursion (tour of SJ) had to isolate for about 29 hours and had to be tested twice.  They all wore masks on the bus 100% of the time but still had to isolate.  I'm not sure you can test positive that quickly after exposure and am not aware of any more positive cases on board.

I agree - I understand you need to wait at least a week before testing/after exposure?  They may (or may not) develop symptoms.

We have three of the BinAx Now test kits at home that I will use to test us next weekend.

Tonight is the night that most cruisers hope never comes - the night before debarkation.  While a part of me says to run to Guest Service and beg for accommodations for another week, another part of me says it’s time to go home.

It has been two wonderful weeks made especially enjoyable by the amazing crew and staff of the Celebrity Reflections.  For those who will be joining her tomorrow and in the weeks and months to come We truly hope you have just as wonderful a time as we have.

Bon Voyage everyone.

Thanks for a great report!  You've done a very good job of blending all the aspects of a "live report" into something that really seems like we've been right with you.  A good mix of activity reports, sharing meal stories, answering questions and even sharing your down time and just relaxing on board.  We're sailing on the Reflection in 3 months and I hope to enjoy that trip as much as it appears you have enjoyed yours.  Now head off for those final few drinks and enjoy the last few hours of the evening.

Thank you for the kind remarks regarding the rambling of an admitted cruise addict.

Our bags are packed, or should I say over packed, and are sitting outside for pickup.  Now it’s time to empty the minibar of any leftover soda, Vitamin water, Tito’s and diet tonic before calling it a night 🙂

Quick question....were you tested to re-enter USA?

No.

Testing on cruises departing and returning from U.S. ports occurs only under the following circumstances:

Medical necessity (presentation at Medical and contact tracing)

Back-to-back or Side-by-side cruises

International return requirements

Thanks for the response on disembarking testing for US citizens/residents.

Just saw that the Reflection as of today 12/20 has a "Yellow" status.  So, there was either a case with a crew member or some passengers (.10% of number of passengers...like 1) or the ship didn't submit a form.
