Is the reservation system glitched for anyone else right now?

I'm 45 days out from my cruise, and check in still shows "we'll email you when available." There's also nothing about check in in the app (where I've been told it will be). Not sure if there's actually any way to resolve.

I never ever received an email telling me check in was available but I just kept logging in every day and then one day it had changed from "we'll email you" to "check in now" (or words to that effect).

Mine finally changed to "check in now," which we did, via the website. Oddly, our boarding pass and the website is instant that we download the Royal Caribbean app before boarding, to fill out our health questionnaire and access a digital version of the pass. So far, the app has been largely non-functional for me... I wasn't even able to check in using it.

Great news!

I have never used the app to check in because I prefer to use a full-size keyboard and screen but the digital version of the set sail pass always seems to take a few days to show up in the app. Once it does, I usually screenshot it as well as taking the printed copy downloaded from my computer. That way if the technology lets me down on the day I have the old-fashioned paper copy to save me and vice-versa! :classic_laugh:

The health check in the app is very easy so you shouldn't let that worry you.

Despite Royal's insistence that you MUST have the app, you actually can get by without it. However, it is very useful on board for things like booking shows and dining times and for checking your account.
