What was the best booking special you've gotten for a cruise?

Then there was Christmas week 2014 balcony cabin for 2 for around $800 on the Freedom.  Then the gave us I think $400 or $500 OBC for delayed port stops or something like that.  Do I have those numbers right @Ourusualbeach?  He was the deal finder on that one

Sounds about right.  It was $400 OBC.  I know the Canadian price was even lower.  I think that I was in at a total of just over $1400 Canadian for 2 balconies and then received $800 in OBC for being late to a couple ports.  I also won the $400 for booking a next cruise on board.  Factoring in the exchange rate I actually sailed for free.

Not on RCI, but just after 9-11 everyone was cancelling all travel. A friend told us about an 11-day cruise half way through the Panama Canal. They had already provisioned, but people were cancelling eight and left. All we had to do was pay port fees and show up. We had a balcony. Paid $200 each!

That is what got us hooked on cruising!

Free cruise for 6 nights on Carnival Breeze, just had to pay $93 in port charges/taxes.

Casino Royale offer: 8 nights on Anthem OTS  $144 in port charges/taxes.

Mid Sept 2021: Oasis OTS Casino Royale offer $151 in port charges/texes.

Yes the free casino cruises are always the best.    We have had many of them over the years and usually get great rate to upgrade cabin too🤩

9 night southern Caribbean on Navigator 11/23/18. By some luck I managed to snag a kids sail free rate in July 2018. Two adults & 2 kids in JS for $2,200. I swear the sale I was given was a mistake but they never contacted me about it. Probably one of my favorite cruises to date. Great ship and Bonaire was a dream.

Best deal DW and I have had was a Spring 15 night Princess TA from San Juan, PR via NYC to Southampton, UK. We got a extra large square shape mid-ship deck 14 inside for $991US including all taxes and fees or $33 each per night. It was the same price for a NYC embarkation for a 12 night cruise so we flew to PR to have the extra three nights doing the sea days to NYC and then had NYC as a port stop which was great for us.

We paid 1100 for our Symphony cruise this past Halloween.  We booked a central park balcony, and did a Royal bid for only $50 each for a balcony room.  So $1200 not too bad.

We also paid around 500 for an Oceanview room for a 4 night cruise on Monarch.  The night before Royal upgraded us to a JS for free.

Not RCL, but I have an upcoming 7-day cruise to Mexico Riviera with Princess which I only paid $354 for a solo mid-ship balcony cabin. It also comes with a $50 bonus OBC and $200 shareholder/veteran OBC. The net price is only $104+tax when OBC is factored in, which is less than $15 per day. Really a steal for a 7-day mid-ship solo balcony cabin.

Transatlantics always use to be good prices. Not so much recently (precovid) . I think more people have discovered how enjoyable they are

$33 pppn though is fantastic

Our best deal was on a transatlantic, we used some tesco vouchers to get a further discount. Think it was about £46 pppn on Navigator OTS in a balcony cabin, Miami to Southampton,  2017 I think .

Cruises out of Dubai were always good value for some winter sunshine too
