Bid to upgrade.

Your first indication will be a charge on your credit card followed by an e-mail and the new room showing up on your reservation.    I have an alert set up on my Apple watch with my bank to be notified of any charge over XX amount.    My wrist buzzes and when I look I see "A charge of XXXX was made to your Chase account by Celebrity"

You can also go to your original confirmation and click the link confirming your bid and you can revise, cancel your bid.   It will also possibly show cancelled or pending.    The only way you can get to it is each individual confirmation for each room type you have bid on.

If you make a bid and it’s accepted and you have to cancel will the upgrade that was paid be refunded to credit card?

Yes.    I had that happen to me.   It was at the initial shut down and took about 2 months or more.    I eventually disputed it on credit card and they credited me quickly.

I bid on an upgrade a couple of days ago but did not receive a confirmation email. I can log in to the bid site and see it is pending. Very odd.

You can also email to the address on the page they get back to you quickly.

By the way the bid program is operated by an outside vendor who also operate auction sites for many airlines.

We are on the Equinox March 4th cruise to the ABC’s. We are trying to bid-up for an AquaClass state room from Veranda MS..but the bid slide bar goes from $0-$250 and up …so does that mean the lowest you can bid per night is $250? I hear all these people saying they bid $50 and $100 and won the bid. Is there a way around the slide bar to make a custom bid? any advise?

We are currently reserved for 6 mid ship…is that still being used for quarantining unlucky guests?
