Upon check in the host/hostess will provide a bag for your mask.  Tuscany also did this.  Makes sense as opposed to putting your mask on the table or in your pocket.

The early dinner in Cyprus was to make sure I was done in time for the 7pm showing of Kaleidoscope in the theater.

With so few guests on board I had the front row (minus one for social distancing)  to myself.

Despite playing to nearly empty theater the cast didn't hold back and gave it everything.

Day Seven - Sea Day

I'm going to miss this Steak & Egg Bagels with a view (plus a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Ciabatta).

I spent most of the rest of day 7 getting the content for this thread organized and uploaded.

The view from "my office" as I worked on this:

Day Eight - Port Everglades

Ocean Cafe opened at 6am so with a breakfast in my belly there were a few minutes left to explore the ship one last time.

Odds and ends.

The cabins on Edge have a WiFi access point right inside the cabin. This is a much better design compared to other cruise lines (cough, cough Royal Caribbean) that place the access points in the hallway.

The phones have a USB charging port on the side

Debarkation started for self assist guests at 7:20am.

From the moment I left my cabin I never stopped walking.

Did you happen to notice if the app included a TV sleep timer? I've never managed to get a sleep timer to work on a ship. Having the TV on helps mask the sound of Hubby's snoring and I find I can get to sleep faster.

The TV remote has a sleep button.

Each press of the sleep button cycles through the sleep timer options.

Thanks! I've had a sleep button on ships before, but never one that actually functioned. I'm happy to know that it does on this ship!

Thanks for a great review!  We are on the Edge in March for the first time.  We have a sunset veranda.  Could you tell me what deck you were on and if the balcony provided any shade?  TIA

Deck 9.

All balconies will have sun or shade based on the angle of the sun and heading of the ship.  There was not constant sun on the balcony but there were times there was morning sun or afternoon sun coming in from an angle.

Amazing pictures! The Edge is such a beauty, we will be sailing on her in 2 weeks.
The ship looks like a ghost town, is this because Celebrity only allows a certain percentage to sail or is nobody booking cruises because of COVID?

Thanks again for such a gorgeous review.

Thank you for your review!  We were on the fence as to sail next week or reschedule once masking policy changes.  Your pictures are and excellent reminder of how amazing the Edge is and convinced us to go ahead and sail.

The virus and Omicron never cast any shade on this cruise.  It's a beautiful ship.  Enjoy your cruise.
