How did you sign up when you embarked? Do you know if they are having more than one?

If you feel so inclined, I would love to see some photos of the food. However, no worries and can't blame you if you just want to enjoy the experience without pulling out your cell phone at each course!

I went to the main dining room, but they told me to just call the dine line.

They are having two during this sailing, Tuesday and Thursday. Over 300 folks from the previous sailing stayed on board, and several of them had already signed up for the dinners this week, leaving little room for  newcomers.

if anyone has questions I will try to answer.

If it is not too much hassle for you to find out, I would like to know if I can purchase Perrier carbonated mineral water on the Regal?  If so, how much per bottle?  My sister has gas problems quite often, and drinking carbonated mineral water really helps a lot.  We will be on the Regal in March.  Thank you.

I checked at the bar by the Trident Grill.  they said it is $2.65 for a 250 ml bottle.

Has anyone been up in the Sanctuary?  I’m wondering how crowded it is.

Checked at the Sanctuary.  they said it was full.  Make sure you go on embarkation day to sign up.  I think she said last cruise was not as full so I guess it varies.

I drank many bottles of Perrier last week on the Regal. They are included with Princess Plus. Occasionally a bar would be out of it and would ask if subbing San Pellegrino was OK. That was fine with me, although the bottles were slightly smaller. If you are Elite or in a suite, you can trade out your minibar items for an all-Perrier setup.

Yesterday was a mish-mosh for me on board. Breakfast in the MDR was mostly OK, except for the bagel that felt like it had been drying out all day. (I was just served another bagel this morning and it too was as dry as a crouton)

Lunch also had it’s problems as I found a long black hair in my fish and chips. Having spent much of my younger days in the hospitality biz, I politely brought it to a manger’s attention. He was very apologetic and thanked me for letting him know. He then took the fish back to the kitchen to show the staff.

Then I was eliminated in the first round of the $50K slot tournament the casino is hosting by a mere 150 points. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

At 3pm I hosted a group slot pull for members of our roll calls on Cruise Critic and Facebook. We had 28 participants show up and we walked away with slightly more money than we put in, so that’s a win in my book.

Later on, I saw a young couple hit a $1600 jackpot, and they then went on to win the marriage game held in Princess Live. What a special day that must have been for them.

Last night was formal night, something I always try to avoid since there was a time in my life where I owned 3 tuxes and wore them while working. I had 8pm reservations at Sabatini’s. Being Valentine’s Day, they were slammed earlier in the evening and still trying to recover. I sat at my table for 15 minutes with nothing more than a glass of water and the menu before I decided that it was not going to get any better, so I decided to leave. The manager apologized and asked me to come back tonight. He then informed the hostess to not accept anymore walk-ins for the night since service was suffering. Another couple approached the manager while I was there, and they too were not happy with the service.

I ended up eating in the Allegro Dining Room. The two main dining rooms served over 1500 dinners by 8pm. There are just over 1800 passengers on board, so the buffet must have been totally deserted.

Lastly, one of the first things I did when I embarked was to sign-up for the winemaker’s dinner. Somehow, my name was not on any of the lists, but that was quickly taken care of, and I’m now booked for Thursday night.

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE ROLL CALLS ON FACEBOOK?

The only other thing I will say is that if you take the mid ship steps you will see the deck 8 doors on both sides of the ship are CLOSED. Deck 9 has one side closed.  These are the Covid wings.

Hope things change before long (for many reasons), but we are booked on Regal's Deck 8 in October.

What is the difference between the Winemaker's dinner and the Super Tuscan? Has the Super Tuscan always been offered on all class of ships? I've heard of it before but never saw anything on it when sailing on the Royal Class. I'd really like to try it if it is ever offered again.

I don't recall if that is the name they used, but there were three different special-themed dinners held on ISLAND in Winter 2018 when we went around S.A.  I didn't go to all of them, but one was Napa/Cali and I recall that one for sure.  They held them in Sabatini's and used the entire restaurant.

We’ll, we just left two ladies on the dock at St Kitts. They were about 40 minutes late and were casually walking up the pier.

They we’re NOT happy.

Just saw a couple of videos of them on a Princess Facebook group. I probably didn't help that the ship's Love Boat horn was sounded twice as the ship pulled away from the pier.

@CineGraphic only saw part of your message in an email.  I gather both our posts were deleted.  What I was saying was when mandates are gone, those who wish to continue wearing masks cannot really expect everyone else to follow them.  Sip & Cover is a mask mandate.

The mask mandates and sip & cover are currently in effect, so if the people in Crooners who sit unmasked instead of sip and cover are not selfish, what are they?

Tonight's show was a singer from England who was in lots of musicals.  He now does his own show.  He was fantastic!  Name is Ross Hunter.

There was a new show Deal or No Deal.  It was last night and will be again tomorrow afternoon.  Read the thread on the Princess page for more info.

I heard two ladies names announced to call Passenger Services.  I also heard the Love boat theme at least 4 times.  As someone above mentioned 2 people missed the ship.  With two sea days til we get back to Fort Lauderdale looks like they will be flying home.

Because we booked the next cruise we have to go to the Allegro dining room tomorrow morning to be tested for Covid.  I hope no problem.  We have been as careful as we could be so hopefully no problems.

tomorrow is our last formal night.  The patter definitely says formal night.  I remember Geoherb saying theirs said elegant night.

"This content isn't available at the moment".

Rather than a link, can you just tell us which group?

That's weird, when I click on the link it takes me right to the video.  Anyway, it's Princess Cruises - Passenger Forum.

I'll try another link:  https://www.facebook.com/519357227/videos/446449680596847/

Anyway, poor passengers.  I feel bad for them although I don't know why they didn't seem to be in any hurry.
