sharon&family Posted March 22, 2022 #851 Share Posted March 22, 2022 On cocoa cay, which part is not free? I did not pay extra for anything including the water park. What do I need to stay away from that has to be paid for?

South Beach Club, all cabanas, daybeds, Captain Jack’s Food, Waterpark all incurs additional charge. Alcoholic beverages and beverages if you don’t have a package or above the package limit will have a charge. That is all I can think of.

It’s probably more in line with the traditional ice skating shows where 1977 was more a production! I have to say that the entertainment onboard Symphony of the Seas 👍👍👍. I throughly enjoyed the evening entertainment at every venue I have been too. In the Entertainment category I have to say Symphony wins over the Wonder over the Oasis over the Harmony. IMG_0524.MOV EXCELLENT to hear this. I do Wonder early April and then Symphony. So you did in the same order and I think the 2nd largest ship will do just fine in my book.

Yes you can sit at bars now and there were plenty of seats due to the ship being about a little over half full! Enjoy your cruise! Fantastic ship / staff!

I only see crew members using that area for rest/break/smoke. The top tier event was held at the aqua theater.

My wife and I are sailing on SOS on May 7th and your report only raised our excitement! I will say the fried chicken on the Day 6 Windjammer lunch menu looked better than the fried chicken on Day 2 Windjammer dinner. Has anyone had the Windjammer fried chicken? Good, bad, or otherwise?

Thank you so much! Have a fantastic voyage! It’s going to be amazing! I have had the fried chicken both days and it’s tastes fine but nothing like Hattie B’s or Gus’ fried chicken down south. NOTHING like it 😂. Part of the problem is that they chicken is fried then covered and then replenish when needed and then baked under the heat lamp. So if you are lucky to get a fresh piece it tastes so much better than the last piece on the tray! Trust me!

Rare BennyBrun Posted April 1, 2022 Author #871 Share Posted April 1, 2022 The embarkation process has begun on the Virtual Edge cruise!!! Grab a beverage and snacks because this should be an interesting week. I got 4 nights of specialty dinning and drum 🥁 roll please… I have been promoted to Elite Status 😂 so besides the usual shenanigans I will also be exploring the Elite benefits this week. It’s going to be food packed… oops I meant action packed week!

Rare Sea Dog Posted June 22, 2022 #875 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Sorry I'm late to the party. Just got through reading all 35 pages as we will be on Symphony September 17. I'm planning on doing a semi Live review with the UDP also so thanks for your information and inspiration. I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1) What camera were you using? You had some great pics. 2) Since September 17th sailing will be close to capacity and I don't have the Key or in a suite, I'll be boarding with the rest and know how important it is to get reservations in before they fill up. Where do you recommend I do this? Chops may be busy for lunch so would CP150 be open to make reservations or Hooked? Trying to figure out how to beat the crowds to get my reservations in. 3) Did you have any issues with slow internet and uploading pics and video for your live review? 4) Sounds like the key to eating at multiple restaurants in a single day is to have reservations right? What if on the spur of the moment have dinner at one restaurant but try to get in Wonderland for dessert? Need reservations? 5) Planning on dinner reservations for 6:30PM will that allow enough time to make shows? Thanks for your fantastic review. I hope to run into you some day. I would enjoy talking to you. Cheers, Greg
