Is there a way to find that info?

Call Monaco HQ.

How do the Muse & Moon differ? I believe they are generally the same (?), but there are some differences?

Yes, the same class of ship, but differences exist in design layout.  Check the deck plans on the SS website for the details.

On a Crossing, how many Enrichment lectures (NOT "lectures" that are asking you to buy this or pay for that) are they likely to have each day?

Thankfully, have never seen a selling lecture like you describer in my 14-years of sailing SS.

From reading recent crossing reports here in the forum, it seems there are a minimum of two lectures per day, but I could be wrong.

I’ve never experienced any kind of selling on SS except to see brochures for future cruises.  I do recall on my single Crystal cruise that there were photos constantly being taken and sold.  It was  annoying and cheapened the experience.

I've just completed a Crossing, and Stumblefoot is correct -- we had 3 speakers, and most days we would hear from 2 of them. One was an expert in European WW2 history, one was a geologist with broad expertise in areas relevant to our travels, and one was a specialist in classical music and film. I thought they made a great balance for one another, and I appreciated their range of topics.

As others have noted, SS enrichment lectures and demos will not try to sell or up-sell you on anything. It is a different story in the Spa and (I assume) the Boutique and maybe in the fitness center, but certainly not in the presentations or cooking classes.

I would agree with Sucellos don't forget to look at the Connoisseurs list of wines. There can be some amazing value there.

The first time I bought a bottle from the list it was a St.Henri an Australian red and a little brother to the exceptional Grange. At the time the new release was selling for $90 but on the Connoisseurs list it was selling for $30 with a few years age.. They had 3 bottles of it. I drank 2 but someone else snaffled the third.

But again as Sucellos said you do get on the good side of the sommelier. He pointed out to me 2 Italian reds that were selling at a significant discount. Only had time for 1 but it was very good.

That said I always find a wine that I like from the general list. And as a vigneron friend says the best wine is the wine you like.

We were very impressed with the pricing on the Connoisseur's list and the sommelier was excellent.

About the gym: the gyms on Silversea are small as you'd expect on a small ship, but perfectly adequate for a workout. They have treadmills, bikes including those with "outdoors" programmes so you feel you're cycling in the countryside, a couple of rowing machines and I think there was a step machine or stairmaster. There are several weights machines and some free weights. Also it's rare for there to be more then 2 or 3 people in there. I work out every day with weights and cardio and found it absolutely fine for holiday sessions; there were also a some pilates classes which I appreciated as I'm a fan.

A major difference between the Moon and Muse.......Moon has the Salt Bar, Salt Kitchen and Salt Lab. Muse does not  have these venues.

TLCOhio The Wellington and scallops What restaurant did you order them in?  Looks delish

Appreciate the very kind comment and follow-up from MrsFops&FopsC5. YES, very enjoyable.

We were dining at Atlantide when we super enjoyed both of these delightful dishes. Also, there, we made an "adjustment" from what was on the menu by requesting a "Surf and Turf" modification.  See below.

At Indochine on the Silver Muse, we were challenged by the wide range of different Asian options.  Confusion was hitting us with so many nice choices!!  Our waiter has an excellent suggestion for our table of five.  We ordered one of everything and shared it all family-style.  It was super wonderful to mix-and-match, having so many different tastes and choices, etc.

With Silversea, don't be afraid to ASK and be CREATIVE!!!  The staff likes reasonable special requests that allow them to show off their skills and the kitchen's capabilities.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

Summer 2019 Calgary, Jasper/Banff National Parks, Western Canada Rocky Mountaineer rail adventure, Vancouver, sailing up to Alaska on Silver Muse, post-cruise excursion to Denali, etc.  Many visuals and details from our first in these scenic areas!  Live/blog:

From our July 2018 Silver Muse sailing up to Alaska, below is the "surf-and-turf" combo that was not on the menu, but was easy to request and get just by asking while dining in Atlantide.  Second is one of the Asian dishes that we enjoyed "family-style" at Indochine.  All very enjoyable and tasty!!:

Hi.  My husband and I took several Crystal cruises before its recent demise, really enjoyed them, and don't recall photographs being taken or sold or really anything else for that matter (except in the stores).  I was sorry to see the line go.  We have been on many Silversea sailings over the years (since April 2004), and also really enjoy those; have one booked for the Norwegian fjords for later this year.  So I'm not really sure what you are referring to re: Crystal.

I have to agree with Gourmet Gal. We definitely experienced photographers on our Crystal cruise. They were there on boarding at embarkation and sometimes at different port stops. They were in the dining room on formal night and you were encouraged to go to the store and purchase these either singly or as a package.

I realise. The question was what's the difference and said the Moon has SALT without saying Muse has Indochine.

I thought SALT kitchen was fine, bar a little too small but interesting and no interest in the Lab. Indochine for me is the best restaurant I've been in at sea, so deserves to be included in the difference.

I agree it's good to have choices. The smiley I had hoped would indicate it was just my personal preference. Nothing more. When I learned that the two bookings I'd made on the moon (subsequently covid cancelled) had dropped Indochine, I seriously considered cancelling. My next SS is on Dawn.... But then pleased to say, the Muse is next so will make regular visits. Happy days.

Another first-timer question -  we'll have 2 formal nights on our upcoming Silversea cruise.  I'll take a long gown because we like dressing up.  I'm wondering what percentage of the other women will also be in long dresses on the formal nights.  And is there any reason to bring a second gown for the second formal night?  From what I've read, Silversea is going the way of most lines and accepting casual dress even on designated formal nights, so I think a second long gown is unnecessary.

If you are like me, and like dressing up either in cocktail or long gowns, by all means do what makes you happy!  You will probably find very few ladies with long gowns...that wouldn't matter to me at all...but I would bring a nice cocktail dress for the second night.

We will be on Silver Dawn July 2023.  Regarding formal nights, for women, would nice slacks, a glittery top, and evening earrings be appropriate or will most ladies be in dresses?  Thanks for your help!

Yes, you will be fine. I am a gal who no longer  wears dresses and I always feel totally appropriate on formal nights.
