In Toronto Posted April 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2022 We want to cancel a cruise which we have already paid in full (under 60 days away). How long does it take to have the FCC available to book another cruise? I thought that I had read this somewhere on this Board but now cannot find. Thanks for your help. I used the Cruise with Confidence option- cancel 30+ days prior to sailing. I had the Princess agent cancel existing booking & immediately move my FCC used for that booking to my new booking. otherwise the time varies to receive FCC in your açount. Rare geoherb Posted April 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2022 It took a little more than a week when I canceled a cruise in January and immediately rebooked it. I was hoping to get the FCC to transfer to the new booking, but the rep said it couldn't.
nho9504 Posted April 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2022 When we canceled on Jan 31st under the CwC, the FCCs showed up in our accounts on Feb 11th.

Valiamo Posted April 3, 2022 #8 Share Posted April 3, 2022 (edited) Jan 12th we cancelled a cruise for Feb. We had our refund back to our CC the following day, and the bank released the funds 1 day later. The FCC took longer to receive. The FCC were in our accounts (3 couples) all before the 24th of Jan. If you have a cruise you want to book right away, call in and ask for customer resolutions and they can move the FCC forward to the newly booked cruise.
