jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2022 We were told on the ship that we have up to 30 after sailing to book another cruise and get the perks of reduced deposit, a discount off price and 100 OBC. Where can I find this in writing?
Rare LHT28 Posted April 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2022 You should have gotten a flyer on the ship with the eligible cruises listed
jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted April 12, 2022 This is not just for any eligible sailings. It is for any booking.
jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted April 12, 2022 There is a 30 day rule for prior to sailing and 30 days after sailing. Just trying to find it in print. Yes should have gotten it in print while on the ship. Now I have to search to show O their own policies.
jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted April 12, 2022 the issue is they cant find their policy for the 30 day rule AFTER a sailing.....
jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Again, we purchased 3 future cruse certificates on board and were told, we dont have to use them. Instead use the rule that before the 30 days are up after a cruise, you can get the same benefits as booking on board. I need to find this in writing as no one on O seems to know their policies. Guess I will tell them to contact one of their ships.
Rare ORV Posted April 12, 2022 #7 Share Posted April 12, 2022 Not to beat a dead horse, but this is just one reason to use a Oceania Cruise Connoisseur Agent that knows the ins and outs of all of this.

Rare mauibabes Posted April 12, 2022 #14 Share Posted April 12, 2022 I understand that 30 day offer is applicable before we sail AND after. You should have gotten a communication from Oceania and we heard the same offer before we disembarked or perhaps after we got home in mid March. The $100 in SBC would be applied to the future cruise booked. Oceania always sends follow up emails to the guests as well as their TA’s as an incentive. As said a million times before, use a good Connoisseur Club Member TA, it costs you nothing but can pay MAJOR DIVIDENDS. Also, if you are enjoying Oceania and booking future cruises or multiple FC’s, IMHO YOU SHOULD DROP $2k and purchase 100 shares of NCLH just to maximize available SBC. We were on consecutive 20 and 26 day cruises and received $250 in SBC on both cruises as they were two separate bookings, not a GV. 🤪👍💵💰 Ciao, Mauibabes
jonthomas Posted April 12, 2022 Author #15 Share Posted April 12, 2022 here it is... Oceania Cruises just announced that as part of the line’s fleet enhancement program, OceaniaNEXT, passengers will benefit from new policies and programmes. “As OceaniaNEXT continues to evolve, travellers and travel agent partners will see we are innovating and enhancing all aspects of the Oceania Cruises experience, in ways both large and small, yet always meaningful and impactful,” stated Executive Vice President of Oceania Cruises, James Rodriguez. The perks include: Shipboard credit policy change Oceania guests can now use onboard credit prior to cruising, for example to pay for tours, drinks packages, culinary classes and speciality dining at La Reserve and Privee. This change will start to impact passengers sailing on or after May 19th 2019. Pre-cruise savings programme The luxury line has made the decision to extend its onboard booking incentives; the perks will now kick in when booking 30 days before your cruise departs. Oceania offers future cruise booking savings and incentives for guests that book their next voyage on board, or within 30 days of returning home. The line is innovating once again by extending these benefits to guests for the 30-day period prior to departure. Travellers that have already chosen their next Oceania experience have the option to reserve it prior to departure and receive the exclusive savings and Best Price Guarantee in advance. Luggage valet Oceania has partnered with Luggage Forward to treat guests to baggage transportation from their home to their ship of choice in more than 150 ports of call. This means passengers no longer need to carry and check bags so can say goodbye to the hassle of potentially lost luggage or moving heavy suitcases. Guests should notice that pricing varies by destination and type of bag shipped. Oceania unveiled the OceaniaNEXT initiative in August 2018 with the reveal of a $100-million refurbishment of its four oldest and smallest ships. Insignia will be the first ship to get a makeover in time for the December and future phases of OceaniaNEXT will touch on dining and destinations.
