How far in advance does Chef's Table show up? Available on all cruises?

We have a 4 day California cruise in October.

Would love to book this if available; NO dining options are showing up on app yet.

The other note is that you won't see it (nor the Winemaker's Dinner) in DMW or on your TV to book.  You need to put a request in at the PSD, Dine Line, or with a Head Waiter or the DRO himself.

Can you explain the acronyms? Really want to get in the chefs table.

Dine My Way.  Passenger Services Desk - or Pursor's Desk, or Guest Services.

HW = a Head Waiter.  DRO = Director Restaurant Operations (formerly the MD).

For some reason or other, Cruise Critic denizens love to abbreviate obssesively.  By MD he means Maitre d' (which, itself, is a truncation of Maitre d'Hotel).

The best one, especially here on the Princess board, is CC.  You definitely need context to decode that one,

I also have a problem with the abbreviations people love to use.... like everyone is supposed to know what they mean.  In the medical field in the record one can only use "approved" abbreviations form a published list so there is no confusion.  Also when using an abbreviation in a document, one must first completely spell out the term then follow it with the abbreviation in parentheses for future reference.

Yep, one of my pet peeves!
