QM2 Are waiters wearing masks?

There is much on the Cunard website on Cruise Critic about guests wearing masks.

 

What about staff--waiters, bartenders, stewards, etc.?

Though we are following all the rules at home and lucky since March 2020 we haven't experience any symptoms of any kind.

 

We too were wondering for our sailing in 4 months, we will wear masks where we feel necessary like everyday life. How about the staff that is in direct contact with us like mentioned waiters, bar staff, cabin attendants, Entertainment Staff and Tour Guides to mention a few.

 

Like CBPROF, what are the rules for on board staff associating with us?

All staff work masks at all times on our Norway Cruise in March - The only exception were performers in the theatre or other venues like the Commodore Club

This rule was scrupulously adhered to on our cruise in April. All the staff I saw at any time were wearing masks, and wearing them correctly.

Yes, all staff are wearing masks even though masks for passengers are now "recommended", as of the May 8th crossing.

A quick update live from QM2.  All staff are still wearing masks.

What about seating at the bar in Golden Lion, Commodore Club and Chart Room. Is that still prohibited?

Yes there are signs up advising not to sit at the bar.
