newcruzer2 Posted May 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Does anyone know why ncls website says 2 for 1 deposits but is not doing it? It's a 12 night in a family suite, computer is saying deposit $1500 for 2 people, which would make the regular deposit be $3000 ... on a $5000 trip, 1 and 1/2 years away .... could this be correct? Two Wheels Only Posted May 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Haven bookings never get that deal.😔
complawyer Posted May 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2022 doesnt matter the deposit, in the end, the total price for the cabin doesnt change. this only means that you'll be paying a bigger amount at final payment. while i'm not sure what ship youre on, the usual deposit to hold a cabin is $250. for a suite it's $1500. you may have either misread or misinterpreted the deposit. it's always been $1500 for a suite, not $1500 per person, and this amount applies to any haven cabin. by the way, if youre able to book a family suite for 12 nights at only $5000, i wouldnt complain! Rare cruiseny4life Posted May 16, 2022 #9 Share Posted May 16, 2022 Also, don't believe the Cruise Next guy. He claims two of the $250 certificates will pay your deposit for a Haven booking. Yes, he said this and we (ignorantly) believed him. Our next sailing will require a $1,500 deposit. We can use the $500 in certificates, but we still have to pony up $1,000 cash too. This is fine...we're staying in the Haven. We can afford it, but the flat out lie was not appreciated.
