BABBY Posted May 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2022 Hi Hi Re a 2 week cruise from either southampton or Malta, Can anyone confirm for definate if there is testing before starting the 2nd week of cruise? or if there is any random testing done please Also I note that Malta requires a test to be taken the day before and shown at either airport or before boarding, but po require this too for all cruises - so would the one test suffice for Malta too? Any help much appreciated
DS_Dean Posted May 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2022 (edited) We are on Azura 2 week cruise (Malta) and there is no further test needed since initial boarding. Edited May 18, 2022 by DS_Dean
Fionboard Posted May 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2022 You need a test on board if you are doing back to backs but not otherwise.
BABBY Posted May 18, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted May 18, 2022 Is a 2 week cruise classed as a back to back? Is there a difference? Re 2 wk Malta cruise, have you completed a week yet? And did you just do the one test required by p&o day before, or did you have to do 2 tests as note malta require one too Thankyou

purplesea Posted May 18, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2022 Joined Azura in Malta end of April and only 1 test required for our 7 night cruise.
wowzz Posted May 18, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2022 I know this relates to Princess, but on our forthcoming 14 day cruise, we will be tested at the end of week one, as it is classified as two seperate cruises, even though we booked it as a single cruise. BABBY Posted May 19, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted May 19, 2022 Thanks for your replies, but I thought a B2B was that although you'd chosen to do a 14n cruise, i.e 2 itinerarys - one of the cruises could be booked as a 7n Whereas if I was going to book a 14n cruise, that could only be booked as a 14n cruise - just wondered if there was still testing on day 7? So, has anyone done the 14n from Southampton? or 14 night from Malta? - that can't be booked as a 7 night one - and if so have they had to have a test on day 7? I'm so confused haha, but want to know before I decide to book Thankyou
