thanna Posted June 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2022 As anyone else noticed that the availability of cruises on casino offers as dried up. We had a few offers that do not expire till July but there is very very little availability as of the beginning of June. I wonder if Carnival has cut back in order to limit passenger level until they can get more employees.
pinklucky61 Posted June 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I'm still receiving offers, sadly the good ones are out of Australia.
mz-s Posted June 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I'm still getting offers, not the $20 offers I was getting before, but still some savings off the "brochure rate" so to speak.
pinto18 Posted June 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I think the great offers were to lure people back to cruising. They no longer have to do that to fill ships
urbanhawk Posted June 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I still receive them everyday. Even elite ones. I do have a cruise booked for Sept.- my 1st one in 8 years-maybe they'll "dry up" after that one.
icft Posted June 6, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2022 We're still getting a steady flow of casino offers but the incentives have decreased. It is not unusual to not see a lot of offers for very far in the future. We often get offers that are "book by" some months in the future and as that date approaches no new offers have arrived. But as that future date gets close, or when they expire, a new set of offers good for months in the future will arrive.

I too have gotten the Australia offers but airfare kills it for me. Certainly an itinerary I'd like to do one day though, just can't justify the expense of it. Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted June 7, 2022 #11 Share Posted June 7, 2022 I'm getting free rooms and Aussie dollars or free balcony on limited cruises from cities I'd have to fly to. Waiting for a free balcony with funplay out of Baltimore that doesn't visit Freeport. What I am getting is a ton of emails, where they try to make the same offers look new and exciting. Annoying click bait.

bigrednole Posted June 7, 2022 #13 Share Posted June 7, 2022 I have several offers out there, but none like the $25 offers when we can't cruise. The best I could find when we can cruise again is for next Summer. It amounts to about $2600 for 3 people and $600 OBC. Since we can only go over the Summer, we are limited. For 8-nights and free drinks in the casino, that is about as good as we will find.

For the rest of us who don't drop a lot in the casino, I think the free cabin offers are pretty much gone unless Carnival suffers another big setback. I am still getting good Australia offers, but even those are not free cabin offers.

thanna Posted June 7, 2022 Author #21 Share Posted June 7, 2022 I appreciate everyone who has responded but I think you all misunderstood what I was saying. The offers are still there. I have free room offers right now. But if you click on it and try to book, the cruises that are available have almost all gone away. The offers are still there but very few cruises you can use them on.

There were lots of options at first and now not as much selection. i expect when a new offer comes there will be more options again. Just a matter of if and when.
