Can’t book a room for 3 but rooms for 2 and 4 are available?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had this happen on a sailing they wanted to book? I need a balcony room for 3. The only rooms it will let me put 3 in are suites and they’re way out of my budget. I could understand if they were trying to keep the count low, but it would let me book a balcony if there were 4 of us.

I’m basically wondering if anyone has seen this happen and then eventually the sailing went back to allowing a group of 3? Otherwise I’ll have to find a new birthday cruise. 😪 It’s the January 13,2023 Anthem cruise by the way.

It’s quite a bit pricier with the fake 4th person and I would never actually put 4 of us in a room.

Book for 4 and then cancel the third person closer to sailing - very unlikely they'll move you.
