Best place to see totem poles?

Of the options in Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, is Saxman Village in Ketchikan the best place for viewing totem poles? Thanks for any suggestions!

Ketchikan is the best location for viewing totem poles.  Options at Ketchikan include Saxman, Totem Bight and the Totem Heritage Museum (a city operated museum located actually in Ketchikan).

My vote goes to Sitka.

If your ship is at Ward Cove in Ketch then Totem Bight, is a 5 min bus ride away from town. Anywhere your ship is you will likely have time to visit more than one in Ketch if you want to. Sitka not on the list of stops.

There are a number of totems in the town in Ketchikan.  You can see them just by wandering around the town.

I prefer Totem Bight to Saxman Village. Ketchikan is the best port and there are several in town. I found the downtown museum sort of boring but some obviously like it.

Walk around town and see them and also the museum has them preserved as well. 

 

Have not gone to Saxman myself.
