Yes, this link worked for me. As an RN and Hospice volunteer, I received notice in two days that I would receive the additional $100 OBC for both my December cruise and next years February Cruise.

Thank you skiing and others! Downloaded the form, submitted it late yesterday and this morning got the email that the $100 OBC was now ours. Printed out the email just in case but thank you everyone!

I was refused (retired UK military) for the same reason.  I emailed HAL asking for clarification of the term 'international', given that they appear to be giving this OBC to US and Canadian citizens, but they haven't offered me the courtesy of a response.

My husband was able to get it for one of our two upcoming cruises.  The second was booked under some nonqualifying promotion.  We got a great rate on that one, so no complaints here 🙂

We have received the Military OBC for the past 3 cruises.  However, I applied for our Hawaii trip in January 2023 and that cruise does not qualify for the program.

Submitted for our Military OBC on August 10, received acceptance email today! Thank you, HAL and all on cruise critic who mentioned this. A good thread to keep going for newbies to HAL.  🙂

So, we got the email yesterday that says the $100.00 is added to our account.  I'm looking at both of our accounts and do not see the credit.  Any thoughts?

Go to your bookings. I received an email from HAL. At the bottom was a pdf. Open that and scroll down. It should appear under Onboard Credits.

I have 2 bookings with HAL. I used the link and I submitted for both last week and haven't heard on either. Not proof was asked for which I think is odd. 

I guess I should call?

I called to check what was happening & was told I had it. Our TA emailed me my confirmation with my $100 OBC, thanks HAL

We have not been asked for proof either which, as you said, is odd. Just branch and status. Have now used it twice, once in March, once for next cruise.

Thank you for posting this!  We just sent in request yesterday and it was approved for our 2023 cruise but denied for 2024.  I hope that this will extend further into the future and that we can apply again for the 2024.

Applied this morning, but can this be combined with OBC already received based on other promos? We already have $300 OBC as a result of other offers/promos.

 

I guess we'll see when/if they respond to our request..
