alleghator Posted July 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2022 I also asked this on the Private Islands board, but it gets very little traffic, so my apologies for double-posting ... With RC dropping the testing requirements for shorter cruises, what will happen with Labadee? I had heard that Haiti requires a negative test before disembarking. Is this true? Even with Labadee being an RC property? Not sure what to expect for my upcoming cruise (5-nighter departing on August 8, Labadee and Coco Cay). Merion_Mom Posted July 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2022 Try Royal Caribbean's FB page or Twitter page. They are often quite responsive on those sites.

smokeybandit Posted July 28, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2022 It's a private "island". RC isn't going to make people test to go there and Haiti has no leverage to require it.

For a similar issue (allowed to debark using a COR) the official answer from RCI was that you can't - the reality reported from folks who actually went there is that you could. molly361 Posted July 28, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 28, 2022 There have even been reports on FB from people that sailed with a COR and could still get off on all the places that Royal said does not accept them

No point dwelling on it now as they are not releasing full details until Aug
