Atlantis question

Pre-pandemic you could (depending on availability), but I don't know whether it is possible to buy onsite now. I would check out their website and also Comfort Suites, where you can book the room and get access to the water park and beach at Atlantis.

On the Comfort Suites website they have this disclaimer though so be careful:

"*Same day one-night bookings will not have access to Atlantis resort facilities and amenities. Advance booking is required. "

Yes, has to be booked in advance.

OK if we book thru Comfort suites...we are in port 7-4.

Will they let us check in early (I mean, we really are doing it for the passes...)

Yes, but the pools open at 9, the slides 10, you want to give yourself enough time to get back to the ship before 3:30 the latest.

I have read that several people stated that even if you do an advance booking at comfort suites..you cannot access Atlantas until 3 pm.  Can anyone confirm if this is still true???

I never had that issue.  We have shown up at 10 and be given immediate access to Atlantis.  Things changes so you can call them, but I doubt this is true.  Very few cruisers would book with Comfort Suites if that were true.

Thanks.   I have booked with them 5 times before, and loved it.   I just read that because of the pandemic...they weren't allowing 1 nighters to use Atlantas.   I am going to book and see.  I am a member of Choice so I can cancel if they don't allow it.   It is much cheaper for our group of 12 to get 3 rooms than paying for a day pass for all of us.  Again Thanks.

Do they still have a water taxi from cruise port to Atlantis? If so where to you get it and how much does it cost? Can you still go in and walk around the Atlantis resort/grounds without paying for day pass?

Thank you.

There is a water taxi, I think $5 pp, a regular taxi is faster. You can go to the casino, eat in restaurants, go to marina village, and I assume the lobby? No walking the grounds, aquarium or beach without a pass.
