Royal Up!

Due on the Anthem next month. Had the Royal Up bid invite, and we made bids on several upgrades  (as currently we're  in a restricted view balcony cabin).

 

Apparently you can succeed with your bid even after sailing.  By then, we'd be in the cabin and unpacked. 

 

if ( and its a big IF) that happens,  do they help you move?

 

I doubt we'll get any upgrades,  it looks like the ship is getting pretty full, but I'm just curious.

Yes, there have been some reports of upgrades being done after you boarded.    

Some people on other threads were told not to unpack before dinner, just in case they were upgraded.

If that happens I'm sure someone could help carry your luggage to new cabin.

Anthem is incredible and cruising from Southampton even more so. 

 

On the June 17th sailing we were Royal UP from a JS to OS and it was simply amazing.

About 3 1/2 weeks before sail date.

Just received our very first "invite' for an upgrade for our New England/Canada sailing in Oct.  We talked it over but decided not to bother. We've got an aft balcony and are looking forward to drinking wine as the scenery goes by.

Don't read anything into those - the only thing that matters is a new cabin assignment and a charge on your credit card. Monitor that starting about 4 weeks out.
