Princess Terminal Arrival

Hi

I’ve just received an email from Princess asking me to use the Medallion App to “Select your terminal arrival time”.

I can’t find this anywhere in the App.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Open the Medallion app. Under Travel Checklist, go to Personal Information & Documents. Under the Suggested section (vs. Required), go to Arrival and Departure Groups. If you have multiple cruises listed, pick the cruise you need to request the arrival time for. Click on Arrival Group. Then pick the time group you want. Good luck!

What if you have the Princess transfer, isn't your arrival already determined by that?

Yes, you don’t need to select it. However, some have not been able to get in the green lane, without selecting an arrival group.  So, I selected an early group for us. Lol

From my experience with port arrival times it’s just a formality I have not seen staff at port check your arrival time this is in port Everglades

I’ve been asked are you in the green lane? Then they sent us through the Elite line at PE.  They just want to make sure if you have all docs and your OM and are ready to go.

My comment regarding green lane and picking arrival group was referring to the App …green lane.

What is the earliest that people usually board (port Everglades).  We would like to get on board as early as possible, but do not want to spend hours waiting in the terminal.  We are in a suite so theoretically should have priority boarding. I imagine check-in may take us a bit longer since we will need to pick up medallion at port since we are from the UK.  This is our first cruise in 4 years, but I seam to recall 11 was when they start.

Usually. But you never know if an inspection is being done.

Sometimes, they can't get all the passengers off the ship to "zero" it. The medallion should help with that one.

Thank you.  Since we are the first cruise from Fort Lauderdale after a trans Atlantic reposition cruise, my guess is there may be a higher chance of an inspection.

Maybe.  They are very efficient at PE. We usually go over at 1030, check in and wait in the Elite/Suite lounge.
We are usually OB between 1130-1200.

But there is a good chance that staterooms will not be ready that early

We sail in 6 days using transfer from Seattle to Vancouver. Never picked an arrival time and are already green lane

You’re so right. They may not be.

I was actually responding to @Mara4166who is in a suite.  Those are usually ready for the guest as soon as boarding begans.

Ours has always been ready, but I’m sure some may not be, and they will announce it.

Well, we’re talking about the App here.

There have been cases, recently, where in order to get to the green, you had to pick an arrival group.  Another glitch probably.  Yours is probably working as it should! 😬

How far out were you able to book arrival time?  We're sailing on Aug. 5th and it won't let me pick.  Keeps saying no arrival times available.

Aug 5th?  Way too early.  Usually they open 60-45 days before sailing.

Thank you.  We are not too worried about access to the cabin.  It is our first cruise on Sky princess and we would love to spend time walking around and then going to the MDR for lunch.

You probably will have someone escort you to your suite and meet your concierge.

It’s nice to drop off your hand luggage and put things in the safe when you board.  Then head off to lunch.

But, entirely up to you.  Have a wonderful cruise!

I was on the Majestic in a suite in April. All doors we locked to cabin areas until around 1

We cruise in suites and have never been escorted to our suite in our last 6-7 cruises
